Calls-to-action (CTAs) are critical for engagement, growth, and conversions. But if you’re sticking with the same ol' “Click here” or “Sign up now,” you’re leaving a lot on the table. Yes, not all CTAs are created equal, and understanding how to use variations, depending on the action you want, can transform your results. 1. Use Call-to-View (CTV) for content consumption: If you want your audience to consume content—like watching a video or reading a post—use CTAs that makes them curious, or promise value. Examples: - “Watch this quick video to see how it’s done.” - “Check out this post for a fresh perspective.” - “Read now and learn how to avoid this common mistake.” 2. Use Call-to-Think (CTT) for mental engagement: CTTs aren’t about immediate action but about shifting your audience’s mindset or getting them to reflect, for instance when you want to leave a lasting impression or start a deeper conversation Examples: - “What would you do in this situation?” - “How would achieving [goal] change your life?” - “Think about what’s really holding you back—could it be [problem]?” 3. Use Call-to-Engage (CTE) for interaction: CTEs encourage likes, comments, shares, or discussions. These are all about the community feeling and creating dialogue. Examples: - “Comment below with your biggest challenge!” - “Tag a friend who needs to hear this.” - “Share this if it resonates with you.” 4. Use Call-to-Signup (CTS) for direct conversions When it’s time for your audience to take action—like signing up or buying—your CTA needs to be direct, clear, and urgent. Examples: - “Sign up now to get started.” - “Grab your spot before it’s gone!” - “Join the program and transform today.” The magic happens when you mix these variations throughout your content strategy. Use CTVs to build awareness, CTTs to deepen connections, CTEs to grow engagement, and CTSs to drive action. So, which CTA variation are you using most—and which one could you try next? PS: Which CTA variation did I use here ? 😉

Stop selling content—start offering transformations
You know your unique skill, and you’ve identified your perfect members. Now it’s time to combine those into a premium offer that delivers value and gives your community a reason to invest in what you’re building. It isn’t about giving more stuff, but helping them achieve a transformation they can’t get anywhere else. Solve their biggest problem or help them achieve their most important goal. That’s what makes an offer truly premium—it focuses on results, not just features. - What’s the one outcome my members want most? - How can my skill or experience help them get there faster or easier? - What’s the biggest pain point I can help them overcome? The best offers are built around a clear path. It could be a structured program that guides them step-by-step, exclusive coaching for custom support, or access to high-value tools and resources that meet their needs. Whatever you choose, make it clear how you deliver the results. Don’t be afraid to charge what it’s worth, either. Pricing isn’t just about money, it shows value. Premium pricing attracts committed members who are serious about solving their problem. They’ll show up, engage, and take action. People value what they invest in, and the right members will see your offer as the shortcut to achieving their goals. So, what’s the transformation you can deliver? Because that’s where the next level of your community begins.

@Ro Ef oh, I see. Well, it depends :) Every business will have its own KPIs to track, and my goals will not necessarily be the same as yours ^^ For Skool, for isntance, tracking efficiency can be: - How many members are active daily - If you post, how much engagement you have on them - If you pay for ads, what's your ROAS (return on ad spend) - What are your CAC, LTV ... If I'm talking about a tech startup, I'll track efficiency as number of bugs per iteration, for instance. Or, how much time my process queue needs to build and release a new version, etc :)

"your members don’t even realize are holding them back." yes. You have to ask the right questions to identify their challenges :) The 5 WHYs works pretty well :)

@Vladislav Van Wyk Watched the recording, it was what we talked about yesterday with @Tyler Lindell :)
Find your true niche by focusing on your perfect members
Once you know your unique skill, the next step is to get clear on who your community is really for. It's tempting to try to please “everyone”, but it's a mistake. Your community will grow better if it’s built for the needs, goals, and values of your ideal members. Start by thinking about who that perfect member is. What are their goals? The problems they're facing? What drives them, and where do they spend their time? These details help you create a community where they feel truly heard and supported. The more you know about their values and the outcomes they want, the more powerful your community will be. People don’t join communities just for content; they join to connect, solve problems, and achieve real results. By focusing on their needs, you’re not just finding a niche—you’re building a place that the right people will call home. So, who is your perfect member?

@Tyler Lindell exactly. You can't (unfortunately) help every one. With a good reflexion and strategy, asking the right questions, you end use discovering your ideal avatar and their pain points, and your unfair advantage makes you the best to help them out :)
Building loyalty > chasing followers
It’s easy to get hooked on the follower count. But in the end, followers are a vanity metric, until your audience is actually engaged. I'd rather have a hundred loyal members who show up, comment, and support me than have 1000 silent followers any day. Shifting focus from “getting more followers” to building loyalty changes everything. Why ? You start prioritizing real interactions over shiny numbers. Respond to comments, ask questions, show up consistently—even if it’s just a few people at first. People want to feel seen and valued, not like they’re just a number in your page's "Metrics" tab. Ask yourself: if you lost 90% of your following overnight, would the remaining 10% be true ones? Followers who support your work, trust you, and spread your message? If the answer’s no, it might be time to focus on depth over width. Ready to stop chasing numbers and start building a loyal community?

@Olufemi Williams In a sense, I agree. But one can hurt engagement (hence algorithm, discovery, and ultimately traffic) more than the other :) Plus, I'd argue that 10 loyal ambassadors can bring you a LOT of eyeballs, while 1000 dead souls will just conveys that your group is dead ^^
