Do you want to be your own boss?
I know you want to be your own boss, but trust me, it’s better to be someone else’s boss. When you’re your own boss, you’re also your own employee. Why have 2 jobs when you could have just 1 for more pay? Not to mention those same arguments you’re always having with your boss, you’re now having with YOURSELF 😂🤪🤯 When I finally read The E-Myth by Michael Gerber I legitimately cried. It was such an eye opener about understanding exactly what it means to have a BUSINESS SYSTEM. Combining that with Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad on the cash flow quadrant, making a distinction between self employment and business, I realized I needed to place way more of my efforts on building a business system instead of continuously trading time for money. Self employment often leads to the shocking realization of the tremendous effort it takes to lead, manage and execute what an organization can collectively. If you’re an entrepreneur and haven’t read those 2 books, I highly recommend them. If you continue to engage in this community by commenting, replying and liking, you can earn points that will level you up in the program. Anyone who gets access to level 3 will unlock my Business Mindset Essentials course where I go into more detail about these books and a few of the other key books that will shorten your learning curve to success by at least a decade!

Farming societies have always dominated hunter gatherers.
Even though your body is capable of being a hunter gatherer, it has EVOLVED to be a farmer. Farming is more calorically efficient, but it requires the ability to think long term. Interestingly enough, wealth is the same way. If you want to be more financially efficient and participate in the evolved human experience of wealth, giving you the full capacity to expand and express your divine purpose, then you need to start planting seeds. You can’t spend every day chasing Gazelles and picking berries. You gotta make a plan for the future and then spend every single day watering it until you see the fruits of your labour.

Course Complete!
I loved this course. Easy to follow with lots of great information. I’m looking forward to finding the perfect wording for my big goals and getting a clearer understanding of how many tasks I can realistically complete in a day. This helps me to be more focused, and easily brought back to my task when I get distracted. The habit triggers are helping me pinpoint what cause me to wander off. Using the cue cards rather than my phone also helps me to be more deliberate about staying on track. My phone is something I take for granted and it’s actually a huge distraction for me. Thank you for sharing your tool. I’m excited to see where it takes me.

Big Goal Question
I have a question; if we have a long term goal such as a business or finance goal that is very important and needs to be worked towards, but we have other short term goals, how do we manage both if we only write or focus on one goal on the “Big Goal” cue card? Thanking you in advance!

Water… So simple but powerful
I’m really appreciating the instruction surrounding water. I often neglect it or procrastinate and with your course I’m putting water as a priority. Putting drinking water as the second item of the day ensures that I do it. A glass of water is the key to clearing my mind and means I’m not unknowingly struggling with dehydration. I’ve often put showering as the end of work task because I “have so much to do.” But I’m realizing that showering before I do start my list of tasks makes me refreshed and focused. It changes my mood. I know these seem like very minor revelations, but when focus and productivity are challenging, these are really powerful game changers for me. Thank you.
