Job Site Generator
Up till now I've run on the homeowners power, usually direct from the box with a 10 gauge extension wire but I'm interested in having a generator option. My emergency generator is a Champion gas powered unit, specs are 6500 running watts, 7800 peak watts.
Not sure if this is good enough to run a 120V vac /3 motors + pre separator and a 240V 13.2Amp ASL T2 grinder but since I'll probably add a slightly bigger grinder down the road I wonder if extra watts will be needed. Not looking at any commercial work right now, strickly residential.
Would love to know what you all are using or see as a good value option?
