Oleation + inflammation (two different questions)
I'm confused around oleation. What is oleation? I thought it was only when we did a traditional kitchari cleanse, eating ghee in the morning and then only kitchari with no fat, for a few days, then purge. But it seems to be something else here.
I'm still trying to ease into detox and find it super hard to stop things like chocolate or grains. It's my second day of eating kitchari and soups and nuts and kimchi. I plan to do FMD starting on Friday, I don't know how it will go, and I'm wondering what's the best way to reduce inflammation considering that this is a very challenging time. I know we're supposed to rest and take naps and walks and do oil massage, but I don't know how to fit that in my day. I'm going through divorce (not my choice), just moved into a new apartment, and I learned yesterday that I'll start a new job in two weeks. It's just hard and I just want my favourite foods. 5 days of FMD looks easier than 2 weeks of kitchari, just because it's shorter -- and I hope that FMD will somehow cure my craving?
I'm curious about the liver cleanse, because my liver literally hurts and I have high enzymes (a doctor said I have the liver of an overweight or alcoholic person! which has never been my case), but it might be too intense for now.
