UHHH I thought it was my "rotisserie cuff"
Many, many, years ago when I had a 'high-top fade', I worked at a very busy clinic called SPORTS AND PREVENTIVE MEDICINE CORP. [there were 3 locations] down defunct, but what a hell of an immersive experience in all aspects of orthopedic mayhem! [but thats another post]..Anyway, my first shoulder client was a line worker at GM. The clinic was in Detroit so we admitted A LOT of line workers with back and shoulder issues. This patient, a burly 35 year old line worker who played rugby on the weekends was convinced he had a "rotisserie cuff tear". He said it so confidently, I thought I had it wrong! So for confirmation I asked " or was it, perhaps a rotator cuff tear?" He said, "Yeah, thats what I said!" Awesome and true.... So check out this 'ruff cut' on when it MAY NOT be a rotator or rotisserie cuff pain:)
