You guys know I'm an open book when it comes to this group and growing the business.
I'm happy to try out new things and report back how they're working.
I'm also always looking for ways to help you better.
I've had a series of conversations the past week that gave me lots to think. The biggest piece was hearing the following OVER and OVER:
People don't pay for strategies, they pay for results.
I guess I always knew that, I just don't want it to be true! πŸ˜‚ I'm sure some of you chiropractors can relate: You want to share the wonder that is chiropractic and you want them to understand how and why it works... and your patients couldn't care less. 🫣 All they care about is the result.
Now, in my mind there are two kinds of results: the measurable ones and the felt ones. Selling brand strategy relies much more on the felt results (brand clarity, pride in your brand, inspiration and connection, etc.) because it's more difficult to measure the impact of your brand strategy – it's a long-term investment, not a quick fix (heard that before somewhere? πŸ˜‰)
But, according to some big shots (Alex Hormozi being one of them), (most) people don't pay for strategies, they pay for results.
So, I want to give this a shot. Which is one of the reasons I posted about Lead Magnets the other day.
I'm creating a list of things you guys need help with to get more new clients.
I would truly appreciate your input!
I don't want to sound like another online marketer: "I'm gonna 10x your revenue in 10 months!!! πŸ€©πŸ€‘" if it isn't true.
The problem with most marketing is that it's a one-size fits all approach: run FB ads for a NP offer, do workshops, blah blah blah. I'm sure they all work. They just don't work for EVERYBODY!
If I create something, I want to be based on a strategy, because that's the only way to be effective.
Here are some ideas I had:
  • Lead Magnets (KPI: Leads per month)
- As described in my last post: Monthly lead magnets for your business focusing on YOUR ideal client
  • Mini Funnels (KPIs: Leads, Prospects, new clients)
- Something to do with your lead magnets before you have a whole marketing automation set up. We create a list and start collecting leads through this funnel. Ideally to get people from lead magnet to their first appointment. We could possibly even nurture them until their first appointment (I have some ideas to be tested)
  • Personalized Post Calendar and Social Media Playbook(KPI: social media followers and engagement)
- This one is a bit unclear still. I could see us creating a social media content playbook with you, incorporating everything you already have and do (for example social media content you get from other sources, like FOCUS). We could create a new posting calendar for you each month and ensure it's balanced, on-brand, and strategic. We could also fill gaps with additional social media designs, if necessary. This could include just the calendar (and you create the content and post) and/or design, and posting.
  • Community Creation
- This one is also a bit vague still, just an idea. It goes along with the lead magnet and funnel ideas above. The idea is to funnel leads into your (paid) community. That would allow leads and prospects who aren't ready to start care for whatever reason to get started taking charge of their health, join a community of like-minded people, AND lock in your current rate for a year, meaning if they're starting care a few months later and you've raised your prices since then, they will get in at your old prices or for whatever offer you made them to get started (this might need some polishing and maybe a trial)
- We could help you set up the community space, create a mini-course for YOUR audience to help them get some results, and content to keep them there.
  • All of the above, but just coaching you (or your CA) on how to do it yourself (1:1)
- I guess it would be more consulting than coaching because it wouldn't just be: "Ask your questions, but you gotta figure out what to ask." This would be: we come up with a plan (again, based on YOUR brand and your needs), and then we work on implementing the plan together.
  • All of the above, but in a group setting
- "generic" monthly content calendars (for example: post a testimonial, post a story that shows a core value in your business, etc.)
- weekly group calls (maybe monthly 1:1 calls) for feedback on your lead magnets, funnels, posts, etc.
- trainings on how to create different kinds of lead magnets, funnels, and post calendars, etc.
- Canva templates for everything
- Everything will be based on and tailored to your brand's superpower if we don't know your archetype mix.
That's all I could think of for now. I'm open to suggestions. What do YOU actually need the most help with? Please let me know!
You might think: I want all of the above, but please give me the ONE thing you're willing to try and then tell me: "If I could get X out of this, I would totally sign up right now!"
I was talking with about some of this yesterday and we agreed that a risk reversal would be super powerful for this: You pay for your first month, and if you don't see the results we agreed on, you don't pay again until we get the results. What do you think about that?
