FREE LinkedIn Outreach Sequence (Template)
If any of you are doing LinkedIn Outreach, this is a template we've used and have had a lot of success with. It's worth testing if you have a campaign already going. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1611A6F8xh3oXSUNw7jEN8514KM1Pf1rhagWlJ-mApkk/edit?usp=sharing NOTE: The magic of this template is focusing on the RESULT you get them, NOT the tool or app. If the RESULT you can give them is something they WANT and haven't been able to get, you'll see some popcorn start popping. Enjoy :) Thanks for leaping with me

@Oren Greenberg yes! But you don’t need to work through us. And we have fractional coaches for product/tech. Our goal is to help SaaS companies run productive dev teams, whatever that means for the specific company. We also have a network of software houses if that’s a fit. Very individual approach.

Generally, an LLM based on the top 500 business books would be amazing. You ask it a question, and it will say what different people’s opinions on the topic are.
PandaDoc Onboarding flow - 2017 vs 2024
In 2017 I went through and mapped out the onboarding flow for PandaDoc. Then, 5 years later, I mapped it all out again to see what they changed. PandaDoc's original onboarding was...bad. It was a step-by-step walkthrough of their app with tool tips and checklists. When you sign up PandaDoc NOW (as you'll see in the video below) the "onboarding" is engineered so that you end up with a WORKING document. In other words.. Before, the onboarding was designed to educate you about the app. Now, the onboarding is designed to help you achieve a specific outcome. It's 1000x better in my opinion. Here you can see the 2017 version (mapped out in Miro) and below you'll see my walkthrough of the updated version: https://www.notion.so/inturact/PandaDoc-Funnel-Spy-46e0ddd8d5a945e58b75a8115922cf5b?pvs=4 If you have a PLG SaaS, you will learn A LOT from the changes they've made.

oh yesss - following the „happy path” for onboarding definitely increases activation. I find many SaaS are not great at this. 2017 we were telling people to utilize empty states for onboarding, today things have become slightly more complex and it usually requires quite an engineering effort
Tax in SaaS
Hey folks - let's talk tax! Our SaaS plans are typically tax-inclusive. What you see is what you get; we absorb the tax and processing fees under COGS. For our European/UK customers in particular though, absorbing the 20% VAT bill stings (vs. 10% sales tax in other countries). Before we test it - would love to hear from you. How would you feel about purchasing a new subscription, if you - the customer - were asked to pay the sales tax on top of your plan? Would this be a deal breaker? Alternatively, we could: - Increase pricing for geo regions with higher tax rates - Only make tax exclusive for geo regions with higher tax rates We use Paddle for billing, for context. Thoughts?

Is your SaaS B2C or B2B? For consumers, it’s not only desired but often mandatory to show VAT-inclusive pricing. For businesses however, not only is it normal and expected to have VAT on top, 90%+ can deduct the VAT at the end of the month so it really doesn’t matter to them. For them, you absorbing VAT is basically a discount.
