In 2017 I went through and mapped out the onboarding flow for PandaDoc.
Then, 5 years later, I mapped it all out again to see what they changed.
PandaDoc's original onboarding was...bad.
It was a step-by-step walkthrough of their app with tool tips and checklists.
When you sign up PandaDoc NOW (as you'll see in the video below) the "onboarding" is engineered so that you end up with a WORKING document.
In other words..
Before, the onboarding was designed to educate you about the app.
Now, the onboarding is designed to help you achieve a specific outcome.
It's 1000x better in my opinion.
