Alex Hormozi would agree with this
Next to physical survival, the greatest need of a human being is psychological survivalโ€”to be understood, to be affirmed, to be validated, to be appreciated. โ€”Stephen Covey People like buying from someone they like more than someone they don't like And you have to make sure you as a person make sure your prospect with VERY REAL problems & concerns that they want to express. You're probably the first person they're expressing their problems to. So you MUST make sure you acknowledge their concerns & goals, validate them, and appreciate them as a person.

Sales reminder: Forget the self, forget the ego
Youโ€™re on a sales call, money is being transferred, and your dignity is on the line as well, itโ€™s going to be a bit of pressure. But the best salespeople (6-7 figures closed) I know always see no pressure in a sales call, and part of it came from experience From meeting & learning from them, and from my own experience, itโ€™s also about how you view the sales call. Is the call about you? Or is it about them? Is it about the money? Or is it about providing a solution? Mentally reframe your thoughts & emotions associated with a โ€œsaleโ€ Ex. I see a sales call as a conversation that people need to have to make a change That feels more empowering, does it? Thatโ€™s because of how I reframe it It isnโ€™t about โ€œa call where I get to make moneyโ€, and itโ€™s not โ€œa call where they can give me moneyโ€ Forget the ego

๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ Entrepreneurship is messy. Growth is risky. And thatโ€™s okay...
โ€œWhat if it doesnโ€™t work?โ€ This fear stops so many people before they even start. But hereโ€™s the truth that Alex Hormozi shares: ๐Ÿ’ก Everyone struggles at the beginning. ๐Ÿ’ก Itโ€™s unrealistic to expect perfection on the first try. ๐Ÿ’ก The only real failure? Giving up. The biggest obstacle? Fear of judgment. โ€” What will they think if I fail? โ€” Will I lose their approval? Hereโ€™s a reframe: โ“ What if they donโ€™t matter as much as your dreams? โ“ What if you succeed BECAUSE you ignored the naysayers? Take the risk. Pursue your passion. Let the opinions of others take the backseat. Youโ€™ve got this. ๐Ÿ’ช P.S. Whatโ€™s the best piece of advice youโ€™ve heard about overcoming fear? Let me know below! ๐Ÿ‘‡

A whole bunch of mess. One minute you wanna end it all, one minute you're into of the world. One minute you're questioning your whole existence. One minute you realize you're making money from typing plastic keyboards a couple hundred thousand times in a day

๐Ÿ’ƒ The Woman in the Red Dress: Alex Hormoziโ€™s Lesson from The Matrix
Alex Hormozi tells a powerful story from The Matrix that perfectly illustrates the importance of focus in business. Every day, we face new opportunities. The bigger you get, the bigger the opportunities. And the harder it is to say no. ๐Ÿšซ In the story, Neo is walking through a crowded street with Morpheus. Suddenly, Neo notices a woman in a red dress and his head turns. ๐Ÿ”ด Morpheus asks, โ€œWere you listening, Neo? Or were you looking at the woman in the red dress?โ€ When Neo looks back, the woman is goneโ€”replaced by Agent Smith pointing a gun at his head. ๐ŸŽฏ Hereโ€™s the lesson: In business, distractions often appear as shiny opportunities. ๐ŸŒŸ The higher you climb, the more attractive these distractions become โ€”the woman in the red dress. ๐Ÿ’ƒ At every level of success, you must learn to say โ€œnoโ€ again and again. Alex used to think that once I learned this skill, Iโ€™d be done. But the truth is, the woman in the red dress keeps coming backโ€”each time, more enticing than before. Success isnโ€™t just about innovation; itโ€™s about consistently doing what you should be doing, even when distractions try to pull you away. ๐Ÿ’ก Focus is your superpower. ๐Ÿ”ฅ https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7251657559374274560/ P.S. Whatโ€™s your biggest distraction in business? Comment below. ๐Ÿ‘‡
