On DIBBS Navigator there is a feature we call "Low Hanging Fruit" filter. This filter shows you solicitations in the last 180 days that are 1) 30 days past their bid due date, 2) have not been awarded and 3) most important they are still available to bid. If you can find these item you will likely be the only bidder. https://dibbsnav.com

RFQ/Quote Status
Hello Team... If the RFQ/Quote Status in DIBBS reads that it is Open (in spite of being past the Return By Date), is the solicitation something that we can (and/or) should submit a quote for? Hmmm

NSN NOW and NSN DEPOT are not government sites. DLA does not sell parts, rather they purchase them through DIBBS

Just to be clear DLA's DIBBS system does not sell anything. They purchase items from manufacturers and resellers.

Check if companies quote DLA directly
So I'm running into something today where a few companies that I'm trying to get quotes from tell me the quote the DLA directly. I'm curious if people have ran into this and what you're thoughts are on when you see a solicitation with that kind of company on it. Do you continue to get quotes from them and bid anyway or just move on? One company told me they will give me quotes but it will be 18% higher than whatever they give everytime.

DIBBS Navigator has a reseller tool that helps you find companies that have DLA products, but don't generally sell directly to DLA.
