MEDICAL MARKINGS
Guys, does anybody work with FSC 65** or 66** Most of them ask for medical markings in the packaging section. I read the paper that is linked but I am not sure if I understand. Can anyone explain what that means - MEDICAL MARKINGS

If you refer to the MMS NO. 1D document, it will tell you everything you need to know. Medical Supplies is typically something I stay away from, however, that document outlines the additional requirements that your labels are required to have.
Shipping to FPO AE.
Good morning, I have a question for shipping to an FPO address (a ship): USS ARLINGTON LPD 24 UNIT 100341 BOX 1 FPO AE 09564 US. The item is about $450 lbs. How should I calculate the shipping cost? USPS online does not allow for items that are more than 70 lbs. Any help is greatly appreciated

For something that heavy a freight forwarder is your best option
Off the shelf/micropurchase threshold items
Can someone explain how to find off-the-shelf items under the $10K micro-purchase threshold on DIBBS? The video to win in 45 days mentions starting with products available in stores/online, but how do we identify those in DIBBS? Any tips or resources to help?

Best way is to think of what products you could buy at a store, Walmart, Home Depot, Best Buy etc, find the FSC code and see what comes up in DIBBS
Quotes & Bid Pricing
Happy Hump Day, everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. Quick question, if you receive a quote and it is around the same price as past accepted bids. Do you just move on, or do you still put in a bid? I ask because your bid will definitely be much higher since you are factoring other costs into it.

Always submit a bid if you took the time to get a quote, you invoke an opportunity cost so you might as well make it worth your time
Mil Specs
Hello Day, I have a question: When bidding on Mil Spec items, do I need to have the "Higher Level of Quality" certification, or does the manufacturer I’m contracting to produce the item need to have it? Also, should I list the manufacturer's CAGE code in the "Actual Manufacturer" section? Lastly, when inspection is at the "Origin," whose CAGE code should I enter in the "Supplies CAGE" field—mine or the actual manufacturer's?

So this is 3 questions in one lol. You AND the manufacturer need to have the higher level quality cert ( ISO 9001 or other equivalent). Yes you list the manufacturers cage code for the actual manufacturer section, for the supplies cage code section you put your own cage code in it
