yes it is. Go to your local post office. On the wall they will have list+ pictures of hazardous materials, stay away from that as a beginner even if you do that in commercial life.
Vendor Capability Form
Hope everyone is doing well this week. I am reaching out for some guidance on the request below. I received this from a DLA Contract Specialist this morning. Has anyone else ran across this Vendor Capability Form and if so, what was the best way to answer when you are still new to this and do not have the experience? Any information is appreciated

Now - this solicitation has a technical docs. Are you planning to manufacturer this product? That is why they ask for structure, experience. You can operate from home but have sup to make it.
FOB: Destination Question
I came across a listing with 6 solicitations on there. I know when it's "FOB: Destination, Inspection: Destination, Acceptance: Destination", it means that I'm paying for shipping. I found the product 20 times cheaper than the last awardee and the vendor has also free shipping so therefore no shipping fee for me. It's MIL-STD-2073-1E packing requirement and I've already figured out what I need for packaging from the packing website. This also means that I need to have the product sent to me. Has anyone worked on a solicitation like this or just moved on?

Great job. FOB destination, means you pay for the shipping. BUT... there is always a but. I am happy you found it much cheaper but don't lower your price too much, you will be leaving money on the table. Make sure you included ALL YOUR COSTS, for some reason the competitor price is as it is. Make sure you have traceability - 100000% you will be asked.
Inquiry
I'm in the beginning process, researching before I make a commitment. My industry is construction, trucking and I'm in the process of establishing the only African American gas station/convenience store where I'm located at in NY. On the construction side, we do the physical construction, but we supply construction material also. I watched a Youtube video where Eric Coffie said someone sold construction equipment to the Government. Would my industry be feasible for Government contracting? I been Googling the main NAICS codes for Government contracting and can't find any that covers my industry. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Pricing strategy
Hello everyone, I am having real problems getting good prices from a lot of these companies. I have been getting quotes, but they have been a lot higher than the last time the government brought does anybody have suggestions on how I should come to the companies.

@Rudy Cadena GOOD ANSWER - take what they give you, add your overheads and shipping, and bid. Now that you are satisfied that you are bidding, keep looking for more RFQ and you will find THE ONE.

Thanks for creating this space. I love DLA - DIBBS for their logic. But that logic sometimes is very inflexible - lots to learn.
