SHINGLES
If 95% of all disease is caused by what you eat, then the other 5% is SHINGLES!! Working 2nd shift I got run down and have been afflicted by shingles for 2.5 weeks. I'm organic 80/10/10 for 15 years at 72 years old, raw vegan for 32 years. 1 in 3 adults over 50 will get it. Anyone with shingles experience please comment. I refused the vax and the pharmaceuticals and have been on a suppliment/herbal regime. It is starting to weaken. Most painful experience of my life and I've been around a while!

It's the worst!! Most trying experience of my life also... I'm 75 and still dealing with neuralgia at 4 months, the rash is 90% healed but still extreme sensitivity at the rash site. Things are improving but it seems very slowly. Stress is definitely the biggy which I also was under when I got the outbreak. Cranial Sacro Therapy and Vagus nerve stimulation may help and I'm going to try "Cupping"... another therapy not directly on the rash but around it. I hope and pray the best for you Trayce, hang in there it will get better... time and doing the right things diet wise which you are... Doug suggested fasting for me but I could only go for 4 days... I dropped weight and I'm already very thin.

What Is Important to You?
If you were going to invite a speaker to your raw event, realizing that you could easily choose from hundreds of people world wide, what criteria would you consider before tending the invite? In other words, what qualities do you look for, and what concerns might you consider before deciding to put someone on your stage?

Persimmons!
Found a friend selling hachiya persimmons for a steal, so I stocked up, though I've never had more than a few in the past. What are some of your favorite ways to eat persimmons? And are they supposed to be speckled brown in the middle or am I waiting too long to eat them? I am trying to error on the side of overripe lol.

I've experienced what Dr. Graham mentioned when they are ripe they will store in the fridge for quite some time they do not go bad very easily.
