Book Review of prevention and care of athletic injuries
" 1 purpose of myself having the idea to go through this book was because developing a type of injury/pain in the right heal of my foot ,after using type barefoot shoes for first time trying them seriously for a period of three months writing this - where I was trying running a certain distance using these type of cheap shoes every day - where. could be explanation why I developed an injury - cos not giving myself necessary time or adaptation period to transition to barefoot shoes. Then a second reason for going through this book would be - holistically feel like I'm kind of person who just hasn't always ever best payed attention to my body or bones/joints, have a background where I have blood flow problems from having "Raynaud's syndrome" due to toxicity/toxaemia with mercury heavy metal poisoning (AKA autism - which got symptoms after V@ccine). Overall I thought the book was through , went in depth about certain topics such as warming up , other factors such a monitoring hydration, and factors such as sleep which have an impact in recovery/recuperation. there were certain chapters which were less prevalent to myself such as protective gear, or gear for sports - because personally im not the kind of person who takes part in social sports groups due to being limited. warming up and cool down - chapter giving recommendations how to warm up prepare for any time exercise - made me think that I actually have a habit not spending much time warming up for strength training I do after seeing types persons say you don't need to. Over use, overload and overtraining" - was a chapter which caught my eye, because it was writing about scheduling for workouts - and is something which I feel like personally don't do perfectly, will have certain symptoms of soreness . chapters "enhanced recovery " talking about types of other environmental/lifestyle factors which have effect and "nutrition's role" - talking how a natural diet is the best recovery tool, Then the nine chapters after this - are Doug writing about how to approach recovery from being inured to fully healed.

Is it better for health to go shopping more frequently?
[https://soundcloud.com/timothy-bourner-660852515/1st-for-health-is-it-better-to-go-to-the-supermarket-to-buy-produce-more-regularly-or-not?si=292406d3597a4f6291e482a52efe3d0d&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing] I made this recording Where was sharing I want to do what's best I am going document myself experiment literally starting by trying both ways The purpose of this post was to try ask doug more - about why he thinks its better in theory buy in bulk If myself Tim find - when issues with that are: may be harder source bananas (if not ripe at that time for example if buy /use lots bananas , I'm not able to transport a weeks worth by using a bicycle if buy/use lots bananas - find that get bruised transporting them "I'm not sure I agree with what doug @Doug Graham shared before - that he thinks its best to succeed in diet you should buy in bulk as much as possible, gave example go once a week He could have more advice to share about this "

@Thibaut Louvel "because when you think about it: yeah if bananas are less ripe - that means you should be able to just buy more of them in bulk and worry less? " - when I was first reading your comment my initial reaction was : if bananas are less ripe winter time - then you should be going to supermarket more frequently then summer (because it takes longer to ripe? But no - the amount of bananas you buy doesn't make difference to speed they ripen? Point of writing this right now: in circumstance that it is hotter conditions : I would still prefer to purchase bananas at a supermarket (which are sold greener or less ripe) then sold yellow ripening/rotting bananas "as a preference - cos means less likely that going to waste banana at home "

@Thibaut Louvel (I didn't see the reply here after my previous comment left) "If Temperatures are only above 20°C +, bananas will rippen faster, and it's hard to buy say 15kg at once for one person and not loose any." ... INSIWRF?
Ripening bananas

@Daniel Kinyon "I have my bananas kept in a cupboard in kitchen since moved to new house, use to keep them on a banana rack in shade in old house

@Daniel Kinyon "why do all users here not agree with what the original person wrote logic : if want try ripen bananas quicker why not keep them in lighter/warmer areas? - that's something I had idea to try to do in new house"
Mercury Detox
Hello everyone, So I’ve been having some symptoms for the past year (raw vegan for 2 yrs now) which where getting worse for the last month: fuzzy/foggy brain, eyesight going downhill by the day, ringing in my ears, fatigue, some pins and needle filling come and go on my head to name the main ones. Then I started to read some testimonials about people with similar issues and how mercury poisoning form the amalgams in their mouth where the cause. It all made sense as I still had 2 amalgam fillings in my mouth (for 40+ years) plus a crown with metal on it. I also had a blood test 6 weeks ago and there’s some markers that he talks about it in the book that I mention below that coincide with mine. I purchased the book by Dr. Hal Higgins “It’s all in your head, the link between mercury amalgams and illness” and after that I had the amalgams replaced (by a SMART trained dentist) yesterday. My question is, anyone else experienced this? If you did, how was the recovery? I know we’re all different in terms of our health and immune system, but how long it took to see an improvement in the symptoms? Thanks in advance 🙂
