Hey all. I've started using Skool as a front-end marketing group instead of a back-end product group. Is anyone else doing this? Attached is the model I'm using. The key differences to the model most in here use: - No ads - No direct outreach - No sales tactics - No content treadmill - Focus on audience building (specifically YouTube) - Focus on community - Using Skool as a marketing community, not product community I ran the new model past Sam and he said he liked it! Step 1: I make content showing how Skool solves the biggest problems contentpreneurs, coaches and membership site owners are suffering from, such as low MRR, low retention, lack of engagement in their community, etc. Then I post that piece of content everywhere - my blog, email newsletter, FB, YT, IG, etc. My biggest hack? Whenever someone asks me a good question, rather than just DM'ing them the answer/solution privately, I make a video or write a blog post about it, then send them that piece of content as my way of answering them. This makes creating content effortless and I'm guaranteed to make at least 1 person (the person who asked me the question) super happy. Step 2: In the piece of content I make, I tell people to DM me if they want 1 on 1 help (for free) from my team to set up their Skool account properly and professionally. Step 3: Someone from my team sets up a Zoom call with them via the DM's. Step 4: On the Zoom call, we have them sign up for Skool using my affiliate link, and then we work with them for 30-45 min to set up their Skool community properly and professionally. Note: I pay my team member $35 (nearly 100% of my first months affiliate commission) for this initial Skool set up job, which frees up all my time, and still lets me collect MRR from the people who actually USE Skool.
