Hi Deb, I recently found out that BCAA insures home based dog grooming. Profur has changed names I think but they are good too.

Holiday Time
What is your favorite holiday? And what do you do in your shop to celebrate it? My favorite is definitely Christmas time. I haven't been able to celebrate it in my own shop yet, but as soon as i can, I'm going to decorate! And definitely splurge on holiday scented shampoos/colognes and bows/bandanas!

I like to participate in all the holidays! Christmas is definately our busiest time. We co-ordinate bandanas for all the holidays, valentines, Easter, St.Patrick's etc... from Bandanas Unlimited, pro-tip: don't pay for shipping, it comes within a week anyways! One year I did paw print Xmas ornaments of the dogs and gave them to the owners on Xmas. I did them on their Oct/Nov appts and had them ready. Was a hit!! Good to do if you are just starting out. You could also run campaigns on your Facebook page and have your clients enter pics of their dogs to win a prize? Builds your page and you also ask them to share the contest.

Lots of windows!! I like that when the dogs are up on the tables, they can see out the windows. Squirrel 🐿️!!!! 😆

Where are you located?
I know from Tera's many years of teaching, she has taught people from all over the place. I really love what Tera is creating now for all of us to be able to learn and connect together. I am wondering where everyone is located. I am located in Kamloops, BC🐶🐾
