What is your core belief around community building?
IMO… this will determine the success of your community. I’m curious to know your thoughts! Which one do you resonate with? 👇🏼 Person 1: - doesn’t like talking to people  - thinks they have nothing of value to add / share with others  - is starting to sound like a bot when talking to their “dream clients”  - is afraid to show up as a leader  - doesn’t participate in any community outside of their own  Person 2: - enjoys talking to people - adds value to peoples lives (even if that’s just through being themselves- there’s value in that too ;)) - doesn’t feel like an icky salesperson 24/7 - is confident showing up as a leader for their people  - has their own set of communities they’re highly engaged in themselves  Subconsciously, a lot of us are “person 1”. I know I was when I first started gaining a bit of a following and thought “oh sht. Now I need to provide value to these people” 😩 I’ve had to rewire a lot of my beliefs around community building and I think that’s essential if you’re here to build your own community for the long run too. Here’s some affirmations that can help: - “I’m building a community of people I LOVE hanging out with” - “The people inside my community just GET ME” - “I’m loving all the conversations I’m having because I’m helping change people’s lives”  - “My people inside my community LOVE showing up for me”  Side note: I’m starting to become person 2 and it feels AMAZING 😏 Leaving you with this reminder: You DO have something of value to share with your people. I highly recommend reading 100M offers by Alex Hormozi. I’m currently reading it and it’s helping me take all my crazy wild ideas and put them in a nice package which is making me feel confident enough to sell it 🙌🏼 NAV 🦋

The subtle beliefs around this can be so limiting too: "I only like talking to these kinds of people." "I hate small talk, but I love deep conversations." "I'm only confident when it comes to X." Those kinds of narratives (especially when they're subconscious) can sometimes trick us into thinking we're being Person 2 when we're actually being Person 1. Also, I loves those affirmations @Nav Pabla 🙌

Hormozi blew my mind with this one
I watched one of his recent videos yesterday. Something he said shattered so many of my beliefs at once: “When money comes hard, that’s when I go easy. When money comes easy, that’s when I go hard.” What does this mean? If doors are closing for you, don’t keep slamming your head against them. Instead, take a step back and reevaluate things. On the other hand, if doors are opening for you, run through them! Don’t hesitate. I’ve literally done the opposite of this for most of my life (ugh). I would spend so much time and energy on projects no one asked for (and no one bought). I would fixate on things with very little ROI. I also ignored opportunities that would fall into my lap: - Writing content for brands - Copywriting strategy for brands - Helping people write books - Coaching people around spiritual awakening Why did I ignore them? Sometimes it was judgment: “I don’t want to write for those kinds of brands.” Sometimes it was imposter syndrome: “I’m not a world-famous author, so I can’t coach people around writing.” All self-sabotage. The point is this. Instead of paying attention to the doors that opened for me, I wasted time/energy banging on doors that weren’t opening (because I thought I knew best). So here’s the takeaway: Be humble enough to see the unexpected opportunities that come your way. And be courageous and confident enough to seize those opportunities. When the money comes hard, take it easy. When the money comes easy, go hard. Hope this sparks something for you too 🙌✨

Perfectionism is Poison
Perfectionism is the killer of dreams. Many of you are stuck in analysis paralysis, thinking you need to have everything perfect before starting. Guess what? Perfectionism is a lie. It's a mask for fear. The real movers and shakers here in SKOOL aren't perfect—they're action-takers. So, stop comparing yourself to the 'perfect' profiles and start doing. Make mistakes, learn, pivot, and grow. What are you waiting for? Get out of your own way and just start! A good reminder for myself and anyone else stuck maybe because your community didn’t work out, or you’re feeling overwhelmed.

Aiming for perfection sabotages progress. Aiming for progress inevitably creates excellence.
