Application timings
Quick question for everyone, especially first year uni students looking at spring weeks. As many will recognise applications are opening/have opened for spring weeks and I have found myself wondering what the preference is for timing of application. As someone who definitely needs to build out their profile more and gain improved experiences and positions for their CV/Cover letter. Do people think an earlier yet weaker application or a later on but stronger application is more desireable? Keen to hear thoughts.

I agree with @Pavle Lazic and @Hassan Akram You also waste time on your end submitting a weak application, so you're doing no one a favour by submitting early (if it's weak).
Watson Glazer test and AC
Any tips on how to excel in the WG test and ACs?

CV advice
Hi all, was just wondering, in terms of getting experience for CV, would it be better to get experience more closely aligned to what your looking to do from a smaller, less well known firm or to get in with a larger, more well known company even if the work your doing is not as closely aligned with what you want to be doing. For example, if you were looking to get into IB, would it be better getting experience with a smaller corp fin firm which is not as well known or getting in with someone like a Deloitte or Pwc and doing things not as closely related to IB. Thanks

Experience is experience, correct me if I'm wrong @Hassan Akram but so long as you can market the skillset XYZ firm is looking for, the company you developed said skills at doesn't matter as much.
