Time out of the pool
Hi everyone I am writing this post because recently my pool has been closed because of something wrong with the lighting and a gala was cancelled on Sunday sadly because of it. Thankfully we got to train yesterday at a different pool but our pool might not open till next week and they arent running any sessions this week and thats not good coming up to Counties. My dad said we could go training at a pool near us but I wont be able to do the amount of hours I normally do so does anyone have any drills I could do at home that will help when I get back into the pool.

Try quality work and specific race exercises to prepare you without a lot of pool hours. and do stuff outside of the pool to work on cardio and power. The best of luck with your race

Some nice pb’s this weekend, happy with the outcome especially the 100 fly. This one was a big obstacle for me cause I came close a lot of times. 4 IM was a surprise for me and the 50 fly wasn’t something to shorten about +0,34

Regional Championships first weekend
Big PB on the 2 fly 1,10 away from nationals time cut. And a small one on the 2 IM. Exited for next weekend, 50 fly, 4 IM and 100 fly

@Julia Vollmer So what works for me is: visualize your race before your warm up. Helps to get you in the race spirit. for music I would say up tempo or some workout playlist. And finally talk with your coach about the game plan.

Hello, I am Stan. I am 19 years old and swim in the Netherlands. I started swimming at the age of 13 years old (started with soccer). My goal is to go to the states this winter. My main reason that I joined this group is to improve on the mental side of the sport. And ofcourse Improve my PB's.
