Something unexpected happen when I started writing on LinkedIn..
So, I've been getting into writing on LinkedIn lately, sharing some thoughts and ideas. But then my PhD supervisor caught wind of it and decided to have a chat with me. Long story short, they made me feel pretty guilty about spending time on LinkedIn instead of focusing on my thesis. Now, I'm stuck wondering what to do. Should I keep writing on LinkedIn or buckle down and prioritize my thesis like my supervisor wants? It's a tough spot to be in, and I could really use some advice on how to handle it.

limiting beliefs and frustrations of mine
I'm a bit embarrassed to say but sometimes I see wins from other people that 50% make me jealous and 50% inspire me Maybe I'm not alone in this haha Like I'll see from other coaches that someone in their community got a part time gig for $5k/month, while that person started writing copy few months ago as a complete beginner, and mainly does fulfilment with templates (???) And I'm like, how?? First of all who is hiring complete newbies for $5k/month is that really a thing? But then another part of me is like, well honestly good for them I think that's awesome and I root for them 100% and inspires me to do better. So my question is, is that really possible? To get your FIRST email marketing client for that high of a retainer? Or is that just a high retainer to me? Hahahah I know I have plenty of limiting beliefs and maybe this is just another one. I hope this group can help me crush these beliefs once and for all and help shine some clarity on whether I should aim higher with my goals. (I probably should lol) Please help me @Kirke Männik and thank you! Cheers

@Jacob Mars if I may share my two cents here Pricing is all about those deep-down fears and doubts that mess with our heads and stop us from charging what we're really worth. The biggest hurdle, i think, to making more cash isn't about knowing the ropes or setting the right price. It's about ditching those self-limiting beliefs (like you admitted yourself) and realizing your true potential. Seriously, if you don't truly believe you're worth $5k, $10k, or even $20k, you'll struggle to ask for it without feeling like a fraud. And this isn't about puffing up your ego or faking confidence. It's about how you see yourself, especially in a business setting. One can give you all the advice in the world on what to charge and how to sell your services. you can even op on the sales calls with killer scripts to handle objections like a pro. But unless you believe deep down that you deserve it, you'll never fully go for it. And a lot of it about charging more has to do with fear Fear about the client saying 'NO' or fear about client getting upset or fear about being an imposter. So probably you could tackle the gear about client saying NO by implementing the 80/20 law. Just make sure you set aside at least 20% of your time to take bigger and bolder leaps. in simple terms: charging more. what's the worse that could happen during this time when you're focusing on asymmetrical bets - a prospect would just say NO. But there are a lot of fishes and with an abundant mindset I dont see why you could not land a BIG fish if you're consistently using 20% of your time to find those new clients and with the current set of clients, just overdeliver for them so much that it becomes a no-brainer for them to say NO to you when you decide to increase the price of your services or when you're upselling them So bottomline: You gotta start charging more if you want to get better at it. Yeah, it might feel awkward at first. You might even think, "No way this client will go for it." But hey, remember the 80/20 Time Law? Keep 20% of your time free to take those big swings and pitch rates that might feel a tad higher than what you're used to. Then rinse and repeat. Keep pushing those boundaries.

@Kirke Männik There won't ever be a perfect moment. Chuck it, I'm in. Although I'm scared considering my LinkedIn has my besties, my previous work colleagues, & literally my fam as well. Probably this is WHY I wanted to put it off let's go🚀

Educational Email Courses
Has anyone here created their own EECs ever? Would love to know the man hours they needed to get this done. Just want to ensure I'm not stuck in an analysis loop figuring out the tech and what not!

One week up and Slayed My Writing and Workout Goals
Hola! It's been a week since I started writing on Twitter and it's been a whirlwind of a ride. All because I was battling acute Sinus pain for 5 of these days while trying to slay my goals. Honestly, giving up would have been super easy. But I chose the tougher route. With hope that this helps us marching forward :) PS - A little Thank You to @Kirke Männik for helping me achieve this.
