I'm Pausing the Freelance Hackademy :(
Hey everyone! As the title suggests, I'll be pausing the Freelance Hackademy for now. :( I want to focus on sharing value-packed content, so I've decided to go all in on my newsletter, instead of trying to be all at once, when the quality suffers. The "goodbye for now" is a bittersweet one. If you're still interested in learning more about email and copywriting, you're more than welcome to join my newsletter community at kirkemannik.com. I'd love to see you there! If not, I encourage you all to connect with each other on socials/ Linkedin. :) Sending sunshine!🌞👋 Kirke

@Jacob Mars it’s about consistency more than anything, but there’s one truth that I’ve found, then that’s volume. Nothing beats volume. The more you do, the faster scale so if you can automate things, then automate things. Just from my experience.

@Jacob Mars @Shravani P.t. on the topic of automation, it depends on how much capital you have to play around with. For the first years of freelancing, I did everything manually (e.g. applying to jobs, making posts, etc.). Right now, I have several lead magnets going on, automated cold outreach on Linkedin and email, etc. To start with, I'd first determine the nr1 thing that consumes your time - is it applying to Upwork jobs? Is it posting on Linkedin/ X, etc (if your leads are mostly organic). Automation is not necessary - the point of it is to give you time back. If you already have a lot of time, you can do things manually, especially when you don't have money to invest in it. Hope that made sense haha. And sorry for the late answer guys! I've god a bittersweet announcement coming up soon. :(

@Adriana Azmi glad you can resonate! And it’s okay, they don’t need to understand because work doesn’t mean that something is bad, although often people (and parents) tend to think that. :) What type of copywriting do you do?

@Adriana Azmi gotcha! If you don’t yet know where you want to start, I would keep this in mind: Start from what is the easiest to you. Don’t delay starting just because you don know how to do something. I would highly recommend you check out the first video of the “Basics” course here. :) Remember, you can always switch the main type of copywriting service you offer but the most important thing is to start and you want to make it as easy as possible for yourself to actually start and actually get your first client. So, suggestion to you is to start from that type of copywriting that seems that easiest and most natural to you. And then practice practice practice. Get as good as possible in that one skill and only then expand. :)
🔥CHALLENGE NUMERO DOS🔥
Hey hey hey what's up You guys ready for the second challenge?😎 This one's gonna be a real exciting one, so you better say "let's go" in the comments when you take this on!💪 Here are the rules: (the challenge lasts until the next Friday, Thursday the 10th of May) ✏️ Share a LinkedIn post every single day. 📣 Reach out to a cold ideal prospect (either via email/ Linkedin/ Upwork/ Fiverr) every single day. 👇 Post a screenshot for proof in the new "🔥CHALLENGES🔥" channel (right next to General discussion and Wins in the Community tab) as a separate(!) post. The last one is for 2 reasons: - To keep each other accountable. - To celebrate each other's progress. If you get any questions along the way, this is exactly what this community is for. :) If you're in, leave a comment below with "let's go!". You're all cool! Have a great rest of your Thursday!🌞
