What is a course, anyway? Add your thoughts
We suffered from the glamourization of what a course actually is. We were living in the details and not focusing on the simple one big thing. This training highlights our errors and how you can avoid it. Do you resonate with what we experienced? Add your reflections - comment to turn the red icon green!

I'd say it's a program that should make participants think and reflect about a certain topic and offer practises that develop skills which are necessary to accomplish the main goal of the course
Do you use lexical chunks in your teaching?
For those who weren't able to attend our webinar today, here's the recording. We're very grateful to Ken Lackman for his time and sharing his knowledge. Download Ken's resources mentioned in the talk here. A few questions to keep the discussion going: - do you use lexical chunks? - have you tried using the universal approach Ken mentioned? - how do you think you could apply this to a course?

Looking for recommendations
Hi guys, do you use any social media to grow your brand and get clients? Up until recently I was getting all my clients from Instagram but as of lately, Instagram sucks (in lack of a better description), so I'm looking for some insight on what might be the next option for me? Linkedin maybe? I'm interested to hear your thoughts 🙂 Happy Wednesday 😇

Thanks Andrew, I'm definitely trying out LinkedIn. I like it cause you can still get desent reach with just text posts 👌🙂

@Andrew Woodbury thanks for the useful info, I'll let you know how it goes for me 🙂
Keep coming back to this trap
#Mistake 2: Trying to Please Everyone I broke free from trying to please everyone a few years ago but when I was scrambling to find clients this year, I found myself falling into this trap again. I find it to be a hard cycle to break.

@Victoria K how about having a podcast or youtube channel that gets you people, even when you're sleeping? I feel that relying solely on referrals is not a strong business model.

@Galina Dhanoon it happened to me as well. I decided to explain to my early students they have a discount and I let them know what's the actual current price they should say when recommending me 🙂
Want exceptional results?
Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed by the endless to-do lists and competing demands for your time? Do you want to achieve exceptional results without sacrificing your sanity? Then here's my trick! The secret to success lies in this simple two-step process: The 2-step process for exceptional results: (1) Spend a little time each day thinking about the highest leverage activity available to you. (2) Spend a little time each day working on it Let's break this down to make it easier to understand. Step one: Take a few minutes each day to identify the highest leverage activity that will make the biggest impact on your teaching, your business, and/or your students. This could be anything from mastering a new teaching technique and drafting your newsletter to developing the outline of a course. Step two: Once you've identified your high-leverage activity, dedicate a small amount of time each day to working on it. It may not seem like much, but consistent daily progress adds up to extraordinary results over time. So what are you waiting for? Stop spinning your wheels and start focusing on the activities that will truly move the needle. Embrace this two-step process and watch your effectiveness as a teacher soar to new heights!
