In a recently published article in Canadian Educator magazine entitled "Five Principles to Help Educators Thrive," educator Lyne Frank outlined approaches to help educators balance professional ambition and personal growth. Here is her list: 1. Teaching is what you do, not who you are. 2. Create boundaries to prevent burnout. 3. Redefine what makes an excellent teacher. 4. Find a teacher bestie. 5. If you are currently open to taking on more 1:1 clients and can check at least a few of these boxes, or can recommend another teacher who does, please reply! - Enjoy teaching beginners - Have experience teaching teenagers or young adults - Have experience teaching learners on the autism spectrum - Living in the Western Hemisphere and available between 1 PM and 3 PM PST. The biggest mistake we see teachers making is overcomplicating things. The best way to avoid that is to follow the 'RULE OF ONES'. → One offer → One problem you solve → One method to solve it → One way to enroll → One way to renew And ...→ One happy client 🙃 Keep it simple.
