Thriving Educators
In a recently published article in Canadian Educator magazine entitled "Five Principles to Help Educators Thrive," educator Lyne Frank outlined approaches to help educators balance professional ambition and personal growth. Here is her list:
  1. Teaching is what you do, not who you are.
  2. Create boundaries to prevent burnout.
  3. Redefine what makes an excellent teacher.
  4. Find a teacher bestie.
  5. Understand the value of less is more.
Many of these are also true about managing your teaching business. Are there any here you agree with? What would you add to this list?
Have you checked out our new podcast episode with Sarah Mercer? In it, she discusses the many facets of teacher burnout.
I look forward to seeing your thoughts on this. If you'd like to get some 1-1 feedback on your teaching business be sure to reach out in the DMs or book a strategy session馃憠https://www.learnyourenglish.net/schedule
