Phase 1 Takeaways
1. There are many ways of getting prospects to book a call. Dm’s/calls is the one the I’d rather do. It can be outbound or inbound, triaging in the latter. 2. I was also sold the idea that I would be able to make 10k on my first month (didn’t happen). 3. Focus on the other person and how to help them, instead of how you can take an advantage out of the call/commission. If the product can’t help them, don’t pitch them (for sure, I don’t wanna be the wolf of wall street). 4. I’m not gonna make even 5k being the lazy one on a sales team. 5. Your sales life and personal life are the same. I was told that the best habit that a closer can have, is to close himself every single day, don’t sell you on your own excuses. I’ll never be able to lead someone if I don’t lead myself first. 6. To succeed in this path requires constant and never-ending improvement. 7. It’s better to have an idea of what info you should have from the lead (checkboxes), than following a script that sounds unnatural. Don’t set them free if they haven’t booked yet. 8. Without pain points you will have a bunch of objections. We as human beings are more driven by escaping from pain, than pursuing pleasure.

Intro
Hi guys. I'm San, and I am located out of Argentina, most specifically in Buenos Aires. Two years ago I thought I was gonna be an IT Engineer. Long story short, got into uni, went for a year and a half, didn't like it and finally dropped out. It's been half a year since a decided to dive in sales. I currently am working as a Closer with a Financial Advisor, selling High Ticket in the South American market. You don't know how hard it is to sell here (most of all to people that are in debt), people here have a lot of beliefs about money that you wouldn't imagine. For this community, I am really looking to connect with like-minded people, improve my communication, get exceptional at closing and finally land a job in the american market.
