I was plenty uncomfortable today...did the Farmers carry challenge again, despite very sore traps and forearms that are still not recovered from previous 2 days worth of carries... followed this with 4 rounds each of the following kettlebell supersets: rows/cleans, deadlifts/pushups, single arm swings/sprinter situps, goblet squats/plank shoulder taps, clean&presses/Russian twists... I was totally exhausted by the end!
Who’s Ready?!
Suffice to say next week is going to likely be an absolute shit show of a week here in the states. Just want to remind you though that wherever you stand on things, whichever side of the political spectrum, win or lose, absolutely NOTHING will or should change about how you approach your goals. Your job is simple. Stay focused, and stay the course! Let’s f*cking go! Hands Up✊🏼✊🏼, Keep Fighting👊🏼👊🏼!!!

I agree...did the Farmer's carry challenge again this AM, followed by standard weight lifting -> triceps pushdowns, biceps cable curls, overhead triceps cable extensions, and dumbbell curls.

I did the Farmer's walk challenge...made it 15min45sec with 2 - 40 lbs kettlebells before my forearms gave out...much quicker each successive time (30 sec rest isn't much after you've exhausted a muscle... followed this with clean & presses, Turkish getups, windmills, hand to hand swings, and deadlifts. I was pretty toasted afterwards.
30-Day “Farmers Walk” Challenge
I’m always up for ANYTHING that will rally the troops and this 30 day challenge is a perfect way to do so!!! In my mind the real value of doing these types of daily challenge workouts is the accountability they create by forcing a non-negotiable goal specific action. Not only do they improve gains, but they build discipline, too! So I wanna try something out with you guys open to a challenge. For the next month, I want you to take part in this “Farmers Walk Challenge”… The rules are simple: - Designate the distance or sets of failure you’ll do - Rotate the different weights daily (go up then down) - Carry on every set til absolute failure (dropping it) …And - Resting for 30 seconds between each set… If you’re in, which I really hope you are, then reply YES to the survey… Make sure to check out the YouTube video attached for more details… LFG!!! Hands Up, Keep Fighting!!!✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼

The Value of “Nothing” [GOAT Speech]
Whenever I’m experiencing that mid-day lull and need a pick me up, on top of the cup of coffee I reach for, I always look for an instant infusion of motivation to help get my mind right… Here’s one from the greatest to ever coach, Nick Saban that really puts things into perspective. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DBo_wWFSSsZ/?igsh=MXh1N2h2dW01eTdxOQ== LFG! Great Speech! Today's workout: double kettlebell jerks, double kettlebell thrusters and jerks, double kettlebell rack squats, snatches (4 rounds, 5-10 reps each)
