Curious What YOU Think
Before I film a YouTube video that will UNDOUBTEDLY get me a lot of hate, I wanna know your opinion on the matter. What’s more important for your overall health? DIET or EXERCISE? Let me know your opinion and why… Hands Up…KEEP FIGHTING!!!

You can never exercise away a bad diet ...the exercise complements the diet, but I believe the old adage..."you are what you eat". I believe the shitty American diet is the root cause of almost all our health issues.

Today's workout... Farmer's carry challenge followed by 30 minutes of calisthenics...30 different exercises for 40 sec each with 20 sec rest between.
Solid Wife Tip…
This post has absolutely NOTHING to do with fitness or diet, and EVERYTHING to do with how to make your life exponentially better. If your wife, girlfriend, significant other, child, or any loved one has had a shit day…stop what you’re doing and make them a meal that you KNOW will satisfy them. Seems like a trivial task, but in my experience not only does it take one more thing off their plate that they may not have the physical or even emotional energy to handle, but more importantly it shows you’re willing and eager to put THEM and THEIR interests ahead of your own. Some may think this could misalign with your goals in the gym, if it meant cutting your workout short (or even out), but I’m telling you right now, it is a display of love that earns you HUGE points in the future. Which in my mind is a far better long term investment for your cumulative happiness and wellbeing than the successful execution of just one workout. I’m not a big nachos guy, but trust me, this will be the best decision I make for my wellbeing all week!!! What little things do YOU DO to show up for your WHY? Let me know below! And don’t forget to chime in with your daily check in… Hands up, KEEP FIGHTING!!!

I agree...the little things like this pay big dividends in a relationship! Today's workout... Farmer's carry challenge, followed by 12 min jump rope, and traditional weight lifting... straight leg and bent knee calf raises. Simple, but my calves are already hurting... tomorrow's gonna be a bi..ch!

Today's workout.... Farmer's carry challenge... followed by interval single kettlebell circuit of the following... jerks, rack squats, rows, half snatches, lateral lunges, hang deadlifts and then cleans. I did this circuit twice (once for each arm), with 40 sec work and 20 sec rest for each exercise. I then did 2 rounds of the following 3 exercises EMOM style...10 mountain climbers, 5 double kettlebell hang deadlifts, and 5 double swings
What’s your poison?
Hope the weekend’s going well! Just wanted to share an image that HOPEFULLY provides some clarity on how things can typically go in life. Really comes down to two separate paths you can take. (1) Hard Now Easy Later …or (2) Easy Now Hard Later I know delayed gratification is a tough thing to apply in life (especially in todays microwave society), but it’s one sure fire way to secure ideal outcomes in ALL avenues of life. Be willing to set aside the idea of instant gratification and lean into a life of discipline, and I promise things will happen for you!!! Hands Up. KEEP FIGHTING!!!

I like the visual... Today's workout - Farmer's carry challenge, followed by kettlebell curls, overhead presses, Cossack squats, split squats, floor presses, situps and finally snatches ...I was toast by the time I finished the snatches.

My check in for today... Farmer's carry challenge with my brand new 26 kg kettlebells... didn't last long...big difference between my previous 40 pounders and almost 60 lbs... followed this up with OLYs (cleans to rack squats to split jerks), snatches and kettlebell swings. I did as much of this as I could with the new weight, but eventually had to drop back down to the 40s... amazing how light they felt after using the heavier ones (even though 40 lbs was the most I had ever previously used)

I would like mace and sandbag workous...not much info about those anywhere else...info about dumbbells and bands is relatively easy to find on YouTube...just my 2 cents worth.
Protein Needs
Been getting a lot of questions in my messages about how much protein is necessary on a daily basis. Here’s a video I posted not long ago that covers this subject in a simple yet thorough way. Chime in and let me know how things are going… Hands up, KEEP FIGHTING!!!

Today's workout... Farmer's carry challenge (I did the single kettlebell version just for variety... it's more strenuous on the core and less for grip strength and traps. I did the whole circuit twice)... followed by some traditional bench presses and some pushups to finish off.

Based on the info provided, I need around 150 grams of protein per day... honestly I have no idea how much I consume... I have never counted calories or tracked macros... I think I'll look at it for a while to see if I'm in the right ballpark or not.
