Skool, (please) don´t do this! 😩
Guys, we're constantly getting suggestions for new features here. Which features have already been suggested but which you definitely don't want because then the development of Skool would go in the wrong direction? What do you definitely not want here? Many of you already know a lot about Skool, so please comment with your thoughts lg Calvin🫡

What is your plan to handle your 12,000+ notifications?
This one goes out to the players who have been here. How do you keep up with the hydra known as notifications. I had to turn off the badge on my phone screen so I wouldn’t be staring this number down. How do you get through them all? I answer 100 and 300 more appear.

Automated Skool Community Growth Strategy
In my last post titled The Path to $10,000/month with a Skool community I described what a micro niche MRR community is, and the benefits of having one. In this post you’ll see an Automated Skool Community Growth strategy you can use for getting paying community members. Here’s how it works: Step 1: Automate genuinely helpful video content to go out on YT, FB, IG, etc. using a scheduling software. In your video content, have a CTA that sends people to an opt-in LP to get your free course (or whatever other freebie you want to give away)... just make sure the freebie is highly congruent with the content itself. Step 2: When they opt in for your free course, the thank you page tells them to join your free Skool community to access the course. Step 3: When they join your free Skool community, they get an auto-DM from you (or an admin on your team) with a link to the first video of the course. Step 4: The first video of the course should act sort of like a VSL in that it gets them to see the potential of your process and gets them to feel very excited. Step 5: The VSL’s CTA tells them to apply to work with you/your team for free in exchange for a testimonial. Step 6: They sign up for free on a 7 day trial. And voila. Now you have a new paid Skool community member, and it’s your job to get them results and keep them happy. So now the question isn’t how to get new members... The question is: How do you KEEP members? For that, you need to use a few Retention Tactics. If you want to see the BEST Retention Tactics I’ve ever used to prevent churn, comment below with the word RETENTION & give this post a thumbs up and I’ll write another post going into detail on 10 different retention tactics I use to keep members paying month over month to grow my MRR.

Why churn is BIGGEST enemy to your Skool?
I've studied the top 100 Skool communities and here's what I've found. The biggest enemy common to all communities is churn. Take a look at screenshots below: if we start with a community with 100 members and apply churn of 5, 10 and 20%. At 12 month mark we get three numbers representing our members: 54, 28 and 6. If we look at mirror picture of these numbers it means that just to keep our group members at level we have to find and sell 5, 10 and 20% of our initial number (5, 10 and 20 members). Actionable insight: 1.) Take more time to figure out what stops people from staying longer (it's usually doing less rather than more). 2.) Community needs your presence in order to trust you. Be there daily. 3.) Make onboarding super clear. 4*.) Bonus point: Do the exit interviews. It's the a great way to find out what are repeating problems within the community.

@Kerry Greener yeah it seems to be a balance between those two. I think it’s a safe bet if you adjust the onboarding to the price, it can come across as untrustworthy if you’re trying too much imo. What do you think?
