I recently ran a test on my Upwork account to see if Proposals that were hand written performed better or worse than proposals written by ChatGPT. @Rayen Designs If you were going to design this thumbnail would you do anything different? We usually split test these, but I like to create 3 concepts and then split test 2 after getting feedback. Haven't made the third one yet.

The Problem In Your Upwork Process...
This is one of the most liked posts I’ve ever released in our communities. It will show you exactly how to identify the problem within your Upwork process, and how to solve it. Enjoy. If you're struggling to sign clients on Upwork and you're not sure why, this post will help. /// Step 1: Measure the number of proposals you submit that get viewed. At least 40% of the proposals you submit should be viewed by the client. If it’s lower than that, this is your current bottleneck. To solve this bottleneck, try these 2 fixes: Make sure you personalize the first 225 characters of your proposal. And make sure you are including social proof in the first 225 characters of your proposal. Examples of social proof are: - Your years of experience  - # of projects you've completed - Any awards, or recognitions you've received - Big clients you work for (If Apple is your client, mention it!!)  Boosting your proposals will also result in more views. /// Step 2: Measure the number of proposals you submit, who send you a message. This should be at least 1/10, meaning if you submit 10 proposals, you get at least 1 message. If it’s lower than that, this is your bottleneck. This means that either your profile or your proposal isn't optimized (or both). If this is your bottleneck, review the modules inside the classroom on these topics. /// Step 3: Measure the number of messages you get who book calls with you. This should be at least 30%, meaning if 10 people message you, at least 3 of them book calls with you. If it’s lower than that, this could be your bottleneck. The Problem In Your Upwork Process...
A Harvard Business Study That Will Make You More Money
"Harvard Business Review published a study that showed an average of 391% increase in sales when businesses called leads within 60 seconds of them opting in." - Alex Hormozi Quick response time is also something that my friend Harlan, (@TheFiverrGuy_ on Twitter) noted as one of the core elements to his success, earning over $1M on Fiverr. Unless he's sleeping, he responds to all his leads within 5 minutes. This became crystal clear to me a few months ago when I was hiring a graphic designer. I reached out to 3-5 designers and 1 of them replied within 3 minutes. He gave me a price, a timeline, and a plan for the project, and I hired him on the spot. We had an entire conversation within 10 minutes, before most of the other designers replied. EVERYONE here can contact leads quicker and close more clients. This is even more important if your clients often need projects completed on short timelines, or if you offer services that are less expensive (graphic design, video editing, etc) as some clients will hire you without getting on a call. This means you can close deals within 15 minutes via text... IF you respond quickly. TLDR: Focus on contacting leads ASAP and I guarantee you'll close more deals. The easiest way to do this is to have the Upwork app on your phone and turn notifications on. That's all for today's post. Cheers, Nico
