Empty Shelves?
Being in logistics has a way of educating us. I can honestly say that if I were not, I'd probably be doing the same thing... Due to the strike, we are seeing mass panicking and purchasing of household goods, such as tissue and paper towels. However, we manufacturer majority of these supplies domestically. I've heard several members of my family tell me I should go and purchase some. To be fair, I probably will, only because when we actually need some, we won't be able to purchase it at our normal stores because everyone has OBLITERATED the supply!!! Instead of logistics, we should all sell common household supplies for when everyone panics 😂 What has caught your attention about the strike?

How to grow a $15 - 20Mil company with 2 people
That is the question, and I have been working on it from many different angles. I have managed over $100 million when working for a corporation and have created extreme goals for my partner and me. Because I believe in what I do, I know what I have done, and therefore, there is no reason why this can not be attained. I have everything in place and am ready to pull the trigger. Have you ever seen the movie Lethal Weapon? When Pesci says, "Hi, I'm Leo Getz. Whatever Leo wants, Leo Getz, get it!" I replaced Leo with Cowboy. If you want something bad enough, you go all in. Going in means you are willing to take the hits and rejections and laugh off the doubters, haters, and skeptics. You do not last 40 years in the logistics by being weak. My advice to all who read this is that you'll face immense challenges in this industry. What you do with adversity when it hits will either make or break you. Don't let any barrier or obstacle stop you from your dreams, go out there and crush that shit!

$15-20Mil in revenue, profit, take home, exit, …? By when? 1-2 years, 3-5, 6-10, …? 2 people is a big constraint. Is that you and your partner? Are you excluding contractors from that count? I have similar ambitions with different constraints.

If revenue 🙃, and you were an auto transport broker, then you just need to move 8-10.5 cars every business hour. 10.5 cars/hour * 2080 hours/year * $900/car (median price) = ~$19.7Mil
Thanks for the add
Thank you for adding me to this community, I look forward to networking and building connections within the freight community. Decade long owner operator and also a freight brokerage owner with experience on both sides of the industry I look forward to not only helping others learn about the industry but also learning about what the veterans have to offer!

Welcome @Diego Suriel
Favorite Social Platforms
There is a lot going on in the social world. I focus on LinkedIn, but have seen many going to X (aka Twitter) and some references to Reddit. Meanwhile, many drivers are in Facebook groups. What social platform is your favorite to talk about freight?
