Let me sum this up quickly: They have the wrong guy in the wrong position to make things work properly in the supply chain. The supply chain is a 24/7/365 operation, and you need to have your pulse on the ongoing daily. The government can't simply think that when disruption problems arise at the ports or within our infrastructure, bringing in a team every several weeks will resolve the issues. This is ludicrous and mind-blowing at the same time, which tells me that there is a massive lack of judgment and call to action due to impenetrable reactive mindsets leading to their inability to bring in highly experienced domestic and global experts who dabble in supply chain daily. I know several people who come to mind who would make change happen, but no, I am not one of them.

@Bill Robinson Thanks, my friend! Check this article out in OverDrive - https://www.overdriveonline.com/regulations/article/15684529/fmcsa-getting-close-to-auditing-cleanup-phase-for-registered-bad-actors
How to grow a $15 - 20Mil company with 2 people
That is the question, and I have been working on it from many different angles. I have managed over $100 million when working for a corporation and have created extreme goals for my partner and me. Because I believe in what I do, I know what I have done, and therefore, there is no reason why this can not be attained. I have everything in place and am ready to pull the trigger. Have you ever seen the movie Lethal Weapon? When Pesci says, "Hi, I'm Leo Getz. Whatever Leo wants, Leo Getz, get it!" I replaced Leo with Cowboy. If you want something bad enough, you go all in. Going in means you are willing to take the hits and rejections and laugh off the doubters, haters, and skeptics. You do not last 40 years in the logistics by being weak. My advice to all who read this is that you'll face immense challenges in this industry. What you do with adversity when it hits will either make or break you. Don't let any barrier or obstacle stop you from your dreams, go out there and crush that shit!

@Nick Padgett I hope this answers your question. I do not do the spot market, I only handle dedicated enterprise accounts. All my accounts have been with me since I started my agency 5 years ago, and they have been growing. I do things differently as I have worked on the enterprise shippers side for over 35 yrs. We have the ability to scale on demand, so we are very particular as to whom we do business with, as I don't have the time to waste theirs. All it takes is 3 enterprise shippers and you're on your way. I work smarter, not harder that enables me to accomplish more in less time.
Favorite Social Platforms
There is a lot going on in the social world. I focus on LinkedIn, but have seen many going to X (aka Twitter) and some references to Reddit. Meanwhile, many drivers are in Facebook groups. What social platform is your favorite to talk about freight?

I use LinkedIn most of the time. I do have an FB account, but not for "X" I do have a site I built on FB months ago called "The Logistics Saloon" (Cowboy Theme) that I have not pushed at all. So, know one knows about it. Check it out and join, so that it gains some momentum, that is if you like my content. The biggest problem I have is "Time" to do all things, so I'm limited and therefore focus on LI.
Google Reviews
Gateway Seattle just got another great review today posted by one of our happy customers on our Google page. Do you place much value in these Reviews when picking a Service Provider? Do you think Google Reviews can help or hinder you marketing and sales objectives from your online presence?

I'm more about character and whether or not that individual can deliver results. It always has been and will be for me what other people have to say about the individual and who the recommendation, or referral came from. That's why I always look at LinkedIn recommendations, and who wrote them.
Allow me to introduce Freight Skools Newest Member: Jim Copley
I reached out to Jim to ask him to join this group. Not because he has exquisite taste in wine, spirits, and cigars but because he is a Tax expert in the logistics industry. With his addition to this community, we now can ask all the important tax questions like, how do I write off my road dog's food? Can I deduct my Serious XM subscription if I listen to Nooner with Dooner? Ect. Please give a warm welcome to Jim representing the Taxes 4 Truckers team. @Jim Copley , whats the best way for people to reach you?
