Some changes coming...
Hi All. I have been a little quiet in the village over the last few weeks as I've been on holiday and I wanted to focus on time spent with my littles before the littlest started nursery 😭😭 Last week was my first 'work week' and I thought very hard about what I wanted to achieve with this community and what my approach to helping mums be the best version of themselves will actually look like. I will post some more information in the coming weeks but I'm super excited to share this with you all. Q&As are cancelled for the time being but I am always available to answer questions so don't hesitate to reach out. Neena x

Sneaky peek!
Here's a question...
Hi all. First let me begin by saying welcome! Welcome to all the new members 🀝 Thank you for joining! I hope this community can be what you need/want it to be. This is a new community so things might start slow but together I think we can make this something amazing! Please feel free to post in the community if you have any niggling questions, want some support or just want to say hi πŸ‘‹ Remember, this community is focussed on learning but also support. I won't have all the answers, but I bet you have answers for fellow members based on your personal experiences and your own knowledge and research. I am currently working on a community guide in the Classroom section so watch this space - I'll let you know when it is published. But for now, to kick things off, I have a question for you... *What is something you used to do, used to be, used to think, feel etc. pre kids that you are glad you no longer do? Or what is something you now do, since having kids, that brings you joy?* Comment below... (fyi commenting on posts and contributing to the community gets you points, points mean prizes... all will be revealed...)

I'll start - I used to waste a lot of my weekend having over funned it on Friday or Saturday. Don't get me wrong, this still happens sometimes, but much less often. I am glad the kids force me to think of things to do of a weekend. Sometimes it works out a treat, sometimes it's a disaster but I am glad of the push to try new things!

@Naomi Deaville good on you Naomi! That's great. Confidence is definitely something a lot of people struggle with and it can come out in all sorts of ways that impact your wellbeing.
Resilience Redefined - The Ultimate Guide to Happy and Healthy Mumming
Do you find that some days you will feel great and like life is like running through a field of daisies (Sound of music style) and others not so much (GIF below of me actually reacting to my husband leaving his shoes NEXT TO the shoe rack!)? Do you wish that you could be a little less up and down, and feel like you had access to that endless reserve of patience and energy that you need to deal with littles (and some bigs!)? Do you 'know' what you 'should' be doing to help yourself feel better but: - you don't have the time - you don't have the headspace - you have tried that thing that that other person told you to but it didn't make you feel better - you found the thing that did make you feel better but you can't sustain it - you feel guilty - you feel overwhelmed? Do you find that there is so much (mis)information out there about wellbeing, mental health and building habits that it’s easier/less of a mind f*** to do nothing or carry on doing what you have always done? Welcome to The Resilience Redefined programme! This 12-week programme will focus on giving you the information and skills you need to create a personalised toolkit for those times of need. Each week you will have access to content explaining the evidence base behind the things you 'know' will make you feel better and you will be given science backed tips to test out. We will work together to help you create your own Mary Poppins bag and sustain strategies that work for you. Throughout the programme you will get access to bonus content from topic specialists and the chance to join live Q&As. You will also get the chance to ask and answer questions and reflect with your fellow community of learner mums who are walking this Road to Resilience with you. Over the 12 weeks we will cover everything you need to go from survive to thrive, including: - Introduction to Resilience - Quick Wins for Stress Reduction - Building a Support Network - Nutrition, Hydration, and Sleep and Rest - Physical Activity and Energy Management - Pain and Pelvic Health Management - Managing Identity Shifts and Building Confidence - Emotional Regulation and Coping Skills - Time Management and Prioritization - Relationship Health - Cognitive Behavioural Techniques - Sustaining Resilience and Wellbeing
