Core emotions wheel
This is a game changer for us. I didn't expect it to be this effective but it managed twice now to really de-escalate us from very bad fights. Thank you for introducing this tool

There's no session today... we met again next week
Flowers
Alright, here’s a fun one… one partner brings home flowers for the other- delightful! After a while, the flowers die and need to be tossed out. Who is responsible for the tossing- the gift giver (owning the mental load of tossing the flowers when they’re done is part of the gift) or the recipient (who has received a gift and is now responsible for it)? 😆💐

That's such a good question. Can we generalise this to surprises? What about surprise gifts that now need to be returned to the store?
Hi
I'm Naama, here with my husband Moshe. We've been married for 9 years, and have 3 kids: an almost-6 year old, a 3 year old and a 6 month old baby. We're not from the States, and English is our 2nd language so please be patient with us (: Moshe works as a software developer. I've been unemployed since right before COVID broke out. I was working towards an M.A. in Psychology, and to this day am still missing a supervisor and a dissertation (this is one of our biggest sore points, as I feel the burdens of home management and then kids had a lot to do with these delays) We didn't read Fair Play beforehand. We registered to go through it together and to learn new skills to improve the way our home and family is being managed.

If you could choose one household responsibility...
That you could magically waive a wand and it would be done everyday, physical, cognitive or emotional...what would it be?

Thinking up permanent solutions for messy areas. And then implementing them. Takes up so much time and energy...
