Webinars on Evergreen
Long story short I used to primarily launch live. And did many years in the middle marketed direct to sale. I’ve added webinars back into the mix. I’m getting great signups. But would like to improve watches. 1. How are you focusing on getting them to watch (especially when you know it converts)? 2. Do you have an ideal length (as in total minutes) that is more likely to get consumed evergreen?

@Mariah Coz yea agreed with your points. The only time I'll watch a longer, evergreen webinar or any video for that matter is if the topic itself is a pressing need for me or it's top of mind. Even with 2x speed. Shamefully I've made multiple purchases and still haven't finished the courses/workshops because too long. I feel like topic is key. It's basically your offer. I think about why I brought Champagne Content Clients (I'm sure I butchered that name) but I watched it because at the time my content marketing was attracting too many beginners. I.e. pressing need. I watched another webinar recently from Jenay Rose because her topic was very strong - how to make money from a tiny audience. Since I don't HAVE an audience and this is top of mind as I close out my DFY slots and want to stop cold emailing...this became a pressing need for me. Edit: just saw an email from Jeremy Miner and he's got some kind of webinar on tonality for sales calls which to me is a pressing need because I'm still very awkward on calls. So now I'm absolutely going to make time for that this weekend. As far as getting them to watch the most common tactic I've seen is offering reward for engagement. Or making something available (like the replya or a workbook etc) only if they stay until the end of the webinar. ...also I may have misunderstood but - my thinking is that the more signups you get, the lower your watch time % will be. Goes back to perry marshall's 80/20 of sales and marketing...only a small % of your audience will be super engaged. And the bigger you grow your audience the more you'll end up with colder leads who will drop quickly even if you do everything perfectly because your topic isn't a pressing need for them its more of a curiousity.

@Rafeh Qazi awesome test. Also Circle was down today for maintenance LOL I was flipping out because I have a course on there and needed it for a project. So that puts circle at a 3/10 for me 😁
Skool Sprint: Launch before Black Friday and Mariah will promote you!
🤩 Want to launch something before Black Friday/Cyber Monday (the biggest sales weekend of the year?) 😍 Want to get out of your own way and take imperfect action with us? 😄 Want Mariah to promote your new free group or paid offer link to our audience, meaning more visibility for your biz before the end of the year? A couple weeks ago, I had an idea (love it when that happens) What if instead of motivating people to take action with run of the mill bonuses or “rah rah” cheerleading, we did something REALLY valuable for our Monetize members that would actually boost their business? What if we really inspired people to take imperfect action NOW, together, and be rewarded for that? The idea for our upcoming Skool Sprint was born (and ALL Monetize members are welcome to participate!) 💭 I thought, “what if we all worked together on launching either a free group, paid subscription or paid digital product before Black Friday - and then *I* can actually promote and share all those awesome groups and offers with *my* audience??” So that’s what we’re doing! So, do you want me to promote your free group or paid offer to my audience? Here’s how it’s going to work: ✅ You join Monetize, where you will create + prepare to launch either a free group or paid offer (subscription or one-time purchase digital product) in about 3 weeks, using our step-by-step tools, templates, checklists, and trainings that make it as simple as humanly possible ✅ You will submit a link to your offer/group to be included in a blog post that will be promoted to our audience (there’s a deadline to submit your link by). We welcome both B2C and B2B products! ✅ I will promote that post to my email list, on social media, and in the Creator Party community (tens of thousands of people combined, to an audience with a huge variety of interests!) All of this is happening before Black Friday, so you’ll have something super high value to offer for the biggest business weekend of the year!

Hey quick question - so I get the offer has to be HOSTED on Skool. But can we SELL the offer via other tools like clickfunnels etc? I.e. they'd purchase from clickfunnels or similar and get redirected to skool to access the program. I wasn't clear from your verbiage. Reason I ask is for things like upsells which I don't believe Skool offers?

@Rafeh Qazi EXACTLY! 😭
I'm torn between 2 opportunities
tldr; I want to pursue building 2 brands by publishing 180 YouTube videos in the next 90 days (1 daily video for each). Strategically speaking, is this worth my effort? My long term goal: Build a personal brand to 5M+ subs. Short term goal: Get to $10k/mo PROFIT (which is $25k/mo revenue) My current brands / businesses - Clever Programmer (CP) - Help people become software developers. 1m+ youtube subs & 70k+ email list - My personal brand Rafeh Qazi (RQ) - Help creators make money with YouTube. (5k YouTube subs) Clever Programmer - Can make $300k+/year with course sales, coaching, and sponsorships with not an insane amount of effort (used to make 7-figures per year but I ran into crazy legal / compliance issues so decided to stop my $15k high ticket program) Rafeh Qazi (personal brand) - I sold consulting for $5k/mo and DFY content for $10k/mo - I retained clients on average for 6+ months (Average LTV around $30,000 or more per client) - Clients get insane results (multiple clients broke 100k+ subs on YouTube and make 7-figures per year) - After I closed 1 client for $60,000. All 4 other clients came through a referral from him. First time in my life where I go grew my biz through referrals - RQ has done $200,000 cash collected this year (with almost no real marketing) - CON: It's currently at only 5k subs and doesn't have an audience or predictable lead gen. The problem with pursuing it right now is that it seems high risk in terms of I don't currently have an audience and don't know how long it will take to build a solid audience. So I'm scared if I go ALL in... If it DOESN'T work I'll have lost 3 months of making cash + no new source of income. Current Situation: All of my clients from RQ are done now and since I wasn't doing anything at all with Clever Programmer (cause I didn't really enjoy it anymore. Legal headaches, uneducated market/customers, etc)... My revenue dropped to $0. I have a 12 month cash runway but no guaranteed revenue coming in.

...it feels like a bad idea. Would recommend you focus on Clever Programmer for 90 days, get the short-term goal handled, and then start to sunset it, while you build your personal brand (don't try to do both at the same time) Especially because you believe you can get 50-75k from it. But that's not until January... So I would also network/cold email etc., for consulting/DFY opportunities for your personal brand: Clients get insane results (multiple clients broke 100k+ subs on YouTube and make 7-figures per year) Even better - if you could make that consulting / DFY gig commission only or low upfront or set up fee, then commission, would be more likely to convert. (You'll have to qualify hard and you'd need to have a process for tracking sales...let alone determine what is being sold etc. but you said multiple clients made 7-figures so I'm sure you have a way to track results) I would go to as many creators as I can, personalize a cold email, show your case studies, and talk about your offer. Do that for 3 months with the right clients > trying to make daily YouTube videos for 2 channels hoping you don't burn out and hoping your personal brand takes off on YT ..would also consider that despite having a year of runway, you never know what's going to happen. So I would heavily lean towards outbound lead gen ASAP.

@Rafeh Qazi quick question - any chance you can outsource outbound? Especially if the deals are worth 25k minimum. (disclosure - I wouldn't know how for your scenario. I do outbound for coaches and for myself but that's to get sales calls, podcasts etc....different than getting brand deals. So I don't know what the process would be for hiring an agency or freelancer to do outbound for you.)
