Preliminary Don study analysis regarding administration
EDIT: If you ARE currently taking DON, please let us know in the comments how you do it, regarding administration timing and type! So I am currently skimming thorugh a bunch of don papers, of special interest to you guys are probably the following questions, I added some answers that might me valid 1) How to administer? It seems that it can be administered orally, intravenously and subcutaneously 2) Side effects? The study effects are predominantly nausea and vomiting 3) Dosing, in humans? In Den Staceys Case, dosing was 0,2-1,3 mg / kg, he did it orally. But no mentioning of a single dose or multiple doses, if it was ingested within a capsule to slow digestion 4) PEAK PLASMA LEVELS!! This is the question: When, after ingestion, will the peak occur? When will be the most don be in your system, to maximize efficacy, when in hbot? It seems that measuring this is EXTREMELY difficult and your doctor will to 99% not be able to do that, to measure that. And the half live seems to be quite variable e.g. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4575731/ "between 2.5 and 11.7 hours." (But in general it is only a few hours), maybe splitting the dose up into 2 parts is more beneficial, to ensure a high blood level. In general, subq (injection into belly fat for example) is slower than orally and iv would be the fastest. For the latter you will need a professional, also for subq yourself probably! Because in these cases it has to be dissolved and adminstered with professional care and knowledge. The researchers of this study talk about the difficulty in measuring don, inventing a new technique to do it, and giving data on intravenous injection: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4357560/ In the graph shown, peak plasma levels were already at 0,25 hours (!), so 15 minutes about 5,6 , 5,8. They probably were pretty surprised by this, otherwise they would have set the measuring intervals way shorter. Meaning, that the very peak could already have been after 5 minutes :-p

Thanks for the great information.
Again, supplements effing up your GKI numbers!
Even if Misses Nasha Winters suggest things that might sound reasonable, at the end of the day, if those supplements eff up your glucose and ketones, they have to go! A dear member of ours just shared some of the things he is supposed to ingest 1 of them Cocoa powder: 56% Carbs https://fdc.nal.usda.gov/fdc-app.html#/food-details/169593/nutrients The other one "Modified Citrus Pectin", the label says 3 grams out of 5 are carbs, which is 60% too !!! Yesyes, of the carbs there might be a big chunk of fiber. But with the US food labeling, plus the manufacturer wanting the real carb number to look as much to zero as possible, they will do any trick, legal or unlegal, to get that as low as possible. Check your supplement food labels. Go on their homepage. What are the ingredients? Maybe they have a european / german site, where the REAL food label is, the one with 100 grams and an additional , behind the first number. IMHO skipping all the supplements for 3 days, measuring gki 3 times a day, is the way to go. Best would be to measure 15 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours after your supplement stack, then compare those numbers to how they were before EDIT I also heard from a couple of podcasts, that fibers are not 100% non- digestable. There is like a 20 30% margin. It also probably depends on your gut microbiome which fibers are undegistable and to what degree, and the microbiome varys wildly!

@Nicté GKI Rivera Totally agree
Summary of "Cancer as a metabolic disease"...
... is now available for you guys to buy in the classroom. The long one with 300 pages. (I am currently reformatting all of my books semi-relevant to keto for you guys, it's about 15) Yes, I know that the chapters are just Youtube videos reformatted into book format. But some people just want to read about the theories and history of this whole matter. Some of you also may want to know all the sources that are cited in Dr. Seyfrieds presentations. And maybe some of you just wanna say special thanks for this site :-p Either way, the 300 page Student Version can now be purchased fo 9$ instead of 15$, it's here if you are interested! https://www.skool.com/ketoforcancer/classroom/146da72a?md=dbd5f86edf594a40a3107b219120f875 Here is a sample of the first pages: https://www.cancer-as-a-metabolic-disease.com/sample-reading-page-5-content/ After the purchase, please send an email to keto4cancer.skool@gmail.com and you will not only get the PDF, but also an online reading page :-)📰👨‍🎓👍

Thank you for that
ATTENTION! Book authors may have a different agenda!
Dr. Nasha Winters is 80%+ a bullshit artist. (But I don't doubt that she has some successes, though!) She sells educational courses for doctors for 15.000 dollars a pop, I was at her homepage and looked up what she is selling. She gives people 123 different supplements. She doesnt communicate that keto is 85, 90% of the success properly. Watch some of her videos, she's all over the place, zero organization and serious behaviour to be seen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbrX_ZrYxJg Maybe I am wrong but this doesn't add up, imho. Mistletoe won't heal you, this is not unicorn happy rainbows land! :-p https://matc.terrain.network/

@John Brebeuf Garcia I met Jane at Anne appleseed project past February. I listened to her presentation. I also got her book. She shared her cancer journey. She does support pharmaceutical drugs like Metformin, Atorvastatin and a few others. In her case 19 years ago and her research, that was a best option for her and that what worked for her. I personally don't support any pharmaceutical drugs, particularly cholesterol meds, which she promotes for cancer and plant based diet.

@John Brebeuf Garcia It is amazing. I'm myself on no carb diet. Last year my son, who was strangling with severe digestive problems for a decade, went on carnivore and restored his health within 4 weeks. He was 113 ponds, 5 ft 11 inches tall. Now healthy 160 pounds. Doctors couldn't even give him any diagnosis for 10 years.
