My daughter, who has been travelling OS ever since the covid debacle, has had a car accident in Canada. She was driving a Ford Fiesta and was T boned by a Ram or Silverado. She has multiple pelvic fractures, a ruptured spleen among other more minor stuff. So I got a flight here within 24 hours. Before plane trip I ate a massive rump steak and a small porterhouse. Thankfully I had a 1.25l bottle which I filled with water at each airport. Every time the stewards came by I asked for two glasses of water. They are very mean with the amount they give you! My other daughter had given me some twiggy sticks and I bought a bag of jerky. Although Im trying to be just on meat and water this month, I was excited to hear they were serving scrambled eggs just before landing in Vancouver. So I accepted my first airplane meal. One mouthful was enough, tasted like plaster! Doubt if it contained any real egg! So I’m in Toronto and trying to stick to real eating!! Any hints???
