Liam and Laura sell home security systems. Liam isn’t making many sales. Laura is making lots of sales. Let’s see why: Here’s Liam: “Hi, we have a great deal on home security systems this month. Are you interested in upgrading your home security?” Here’s Laura: “I’m not sure if you’re aware, but there have been 10 break-ins in your area in the last month alone. Burglars often enter through unsecured windows or doors. How secure do you feel your home is at night?” Customer: “I’m not really sure, I haven’t thought about it much.” Laura: “What if we could offer you a free security assessment of your home? We’ll check all entry points and provide you with a comprehensive report. This way, you’ll know exactly where your home stands in terms of security.” Customer: “Yes, that sounds good. Let’s schedule that.” Why is Laura making more sales than Liam?

Short answer, Liam is selling "stuff" while Laura is offering a solution. Laura triggered the problem first before selling anything... She then offers the value upfront with zero risks before pulling the prospect more into a call. From there, once the person knows that they have a problem that potentially threatens their life (or business)... We can easily offer them with the solution. Which is our service or product. I see a lot more persuasion techniques and NLP being used, but the structure stands true. For example, the hook/lead is written or said to disarm the customer from the start... She then showed the problem, agitated it, and asked the customer how they FEEL about the problem. ...And then she gives free value upfront to mitigate the risk for the customer and close it with a "probability" of help or them working together. CMIIW. 🍻

You already have the gun, now you only need to trust the process, follow the steps, and SHOOT AWAY! So here's the story, I joined this awesome community a few odd weeks ago and learned from Andreas about accelerating my sales outreach. Gotta be honest, I'm not the most diligent student coz I got swamped with work and haven't been able to religiously implement what I learned here. But if you follow Andreas' teaching and implement them, there's no way you gonna fail! Earlier this year I posted about talking with 3 potential clients by leveraging the seasonal hype... ...And I haven't had time to reach out to more. Around last week, one of those 3 asked if I knew someone who could write content for his friend... So I reached out, scheduled a call, and talked with his friend to understand more. Long story short, I gave him some content ideas, how to grow their account, and how to build their brand and biz further... He then asked if I was up if he pitted me on a test with other people he scouted. I said "Sure, why not?!", it's just another test which is pretty normal for a copywriter. And today, I received a great news about the position from his assistant... Now an additional 10K AED per month to write content for his brands is currently in the bag. So if you don't like money, don't listen to Andreas' teaching and don't implement it. Coz this thing works! If this is what I can get by not doing it religiously, where do you think it'll take you if you're diligent about it? Cheers! 🍻 P.S. 10K AED is around $2.7K.

Quick question...
For you who are reaching out to people on social media and implementing what Andreas is teaching in this course, what's your offer? Do you offer to become their setter/closer or do you have other offers/services? I'm curious...

Are you setting/closing for another client or are you offering your service as a setter/closer, @Alex Salazar

Ok, that makes sense, @Rogers Sek, thanks! 🍻
Does this thing work?
Fck yea, it does! See, I just finished the initial video about sending messages to people I followed on my Instagram... So I tried it and sent messages to 2 people, coz I'm such an introvert and don't have many connections. Anyway... One of them is a fitness coach while the other is a mindset coach. The first message was replying to their New Year's post... Coz it's obviously a good icebreaker since that's a very trending topic at this moment. And they replied within within 2 hours. (forget 24 hours) I then asked them about their resolution in 2024 for their biz... And started to build connections before pitching my service. Which I'll probably do within 2-3 days, coz I don't wanna ruin their New Year's celebration. Long story short, what Andreas teaching you is definitely works! Oh, and Happy New Year to you too. 🍻 P.S. Seasonal vibes are the best time to craft topical messages, so use them well to get more leads, clients, or deals.

Confession of an introvert marketing nerd
Hi, I’m Mahesa, a direct response copywriter and email marketing specialist for high-ticket coaches in bizopp, spirituality, and blockchain niches. My personality is that of a mediator who’s more inclined as an introvert. Even though talking with hot-leads through phones drained my energy faster, I find it more effective… Especially when we have proven frameworks to follow when doing the sales call… Just like what we’re learning here. Anyway… It’s nice to be part of your community. 🍻
