I am sticking to my mat exercises each morning and feel good about it. I do a hundred reverse sit ups each morning along with other lower abdomen exercises, including Russian twists, and standing leg exercises. I really hope it is doing me good over the long run. It was tough starting but now it's automatic. I often think about going to the gym but don't want to go through the start/stop routine that happens after a while. Who cares about pumping muscle any more? Maintaining mobility and healthy joints is the most important. Good luck all.

That's great. What a relief when you said 'per week' - I was worried initially as I thought 75 to 150 minutes daily is out of the question. LOL.
Day 5 - The Weekend Is Here
When you're building positive habits, the weekend can be an absolute result killer. Our usual schedule changes. Socials much more regular. Traditions like meals. And of course much more alcohol consumed over the weekends. Many people will spend the week shaving off excess calories and absolutely nail it, only to make up a whole day's allowance in one extra excessive meal ๐Ÿ˜ฎ But equally it's important to enjoy life and not erase plessure. It's all about balanceโš–๏ธ How have you got on today, and how are you finding balance this weekend?

It's funny, I woke up this morning thinking I'll skip the mat exercise. But then a few minutes later I thought 'just do it'. And then I read this. Glad now that I did it.

Over half way and have we managed to maintain our commitment? Amazing effort if so. If not....that's ok. Life is a continuously cycle of challenges and hurdles, then some clear spells, then more hurdles. Expect to fall, just be sure to get back up ๐Ÿ’ช

could walk a bit more. I used to do 10k steps daily this time last year.

I need to do my mat exercises later in the day as today is a straight to work day from bed to desk. Have a cushion to support my lower back.

@Russ Walker good point. will do. Sometimes I struggle to even go to the bathroom because it gets too busy.
