Intro - Hey Team!
Hey, Iโ€™m Tomasz. Digital nomad 34+ countries. Half polish, half British let me just tell you a bit about myself so you know I'm worth listening to when it comes to Google Ads. Over the last 8 years, I've generated over $250,000,000 of revenue for companies with Google Ads. The first job I ever had in PPC, I earned ยฃ3 per hour but also got to visit Google's offices twice and worked on some big accounts early on. This exposure lit a fire under me. Since then, I have generated hundreds of millions of dollars for big brands, small brands, agencies, no names, you name it if it's google ads, i've done it. I've had the pleasure to work on ad accounts such as: Huel, Domino's, Stitch Fix, Subaru, Howden, Symprove, Dr. Wills, WeWork, Mercedes-Benz, DryDrinker, Planthood, Nyetimber and many more... Most Google Ads Guru's who teach Google Ads only make their money teaching Google Ads. They donโ€™t actually run and scale ad accounts. They donโ€™t earn their living "in the trenches" running PPC everyday. I do. Iโ€™ve run ads in every niche from Hermes handbag pawnbrokers to electric cars. That all may sound a bit arrogant or "braggy" but itโ€™s necessary to tell you my background so you know that I actually know what Iโ€™m talking about. TLDR: Day Job: I scale 7-10 figure brands with Google Ads. Founder: PPC Profit Club. Side Hustle: I make content showing Google ads specialists how to join the top 1%. My Google Ads Community on SKOOL: ppcprofitclub.com Love to connect with the legends inside this community: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tomaszaw/ Thanks @Tobias Allen for setting up LOM ๐Ÿซก

Does Paid Ads have the largest barrier to entry?
This is the question I've been thinking about this for the last few weeks. In my opinion, it's the toughest marketing channel to break into because they need to pay thousands of dollars into the platform(s) without a clear idea of what they'll get out of it. It's a tough pill to swallow. There are some tools that can help you estimate what you'll get, but in my experience, they're ballpark estimates at best and sometimes completely off. The best way to get some data is straight from the platform. Too often the owners want to "dip their toes in the water" which works to a limited extent. If they're not spending enough it'll take weeks if not months to get enough data to optimize the accounts effectively, they'll get occasional leads but nothing consistent, and they won't get enough conversions to leverage the power of the machine learning and AI the platforms have. And the worst part is that they start to believe that paid ads are inconsistent and won't work for their business because this test didn't work for their business and they won't want to try it again in the future, stunting the potential growth of the business. As I've been meeting with potential clients, I have to qualify them well and make sure they're ready to take the step into paid ads. I've had to turn away a few because I knew I couldn't get them the results they wanted. What are your thoughts? Am I onto something here or over-exaggerating in my echo chamber? I've worked a good amount with other channels and they don't seem to have as high of a bar for entry.

I realised that the toughest account been of clients with revenue below $1M or start ups. (DTC as well as lead gen). And even the accounts we succeeded with the operations becomes the next bottleneck. Its going to get harder and harder to get results with paid ads. And the market becomes smaller and smaller. On the other hand business with $5 to $10M that grew organically... paid ads is going to be a very valueable tax expense. And this is the audience I personally go after. They don't care about building an in-house digital team, but rather partner up closely with a team that becomes a digital extension of their business.

@Kyle Rutledge with cost per results going up and up, I see a future where paid acquisition becomes only viably for those who have money to lose. I.E doing $3m/year and dumping $30K pm on ads. Even for eCom Ive seen brands being pushed out of the market. Without proper email marketing and organic sources its not viable.
