Introduction—Newbie
Hi everyone! I’m new here and excited to finally dive into day trading. This is something I’ve wanted to get into for a while, but I just didn’t know where or how to start. There’s just so much information out there—conflicting advice and tons of so-called experts—which makes it hard to get into. I’m really glad I stumbled on this group and can learn alongside others. Looking forward to getting started!

New Today
Hello everybody ☀️My name is Kira. I am currently living in Portugal where I enjoy the sun, beach and delicious food and I work remotely from home. I have just joined this community and am super happy to find a place where I can learn about trading. Actually it’s because I’ve started trading futures 10 days ago because of a friend who has been doing it. It’s exciting and I was thinking…. I don’t just want to follow signals of other people, I want to understand all that is behind those decisions 😁🫣 For me this means that I have to start with the basics, just like Tyler did. My plan is to take enough time to learn things before I become a real (great) trader. 2 years seems long but I’m sure they will fly by quickly ! And I think I found the right path with this course and all of you👍🏼 Have a great weekend 😘 Anybody else starting this week? Knowing nothing about trading? 😵‍💫🤣

Crypto Trading?? Fell into the Rabbit hole, should I get out?
Hi All my name is Pete and I am new to the group, Stumbled upon the podcast/wiki, thanks @Tyler Stokes for creating this space and taking part in community dedicated to helping traders in their beginning pursuits. I was drawn to trading after leaving my 9-5 to study it full time in an attempt to create a work from home lifestyle. While exploring career options stocks and trading kept popping up and decided to take a course, not really conscious of the fact it was mostly centered around a community doing crypto based trading. I am feeling uncomfortable with the VPN/Legal/sticky aspects of the crypto world, but have learned some amazing strategies over the course of the past few weeks. Do I stay the course in crypto or reevaluate another option?? Would love to know your thoughts and feedback.

@Peter Osborn me too😊
Is it just me?
Ok I have been listening to podcasts, reading books, and taking online courses for a bit now and have all these things floating around in my head. So is it just me or is anyone else getting overwhelmed by the amount of info out there on strategy, different ways of trading, different things to trade (stocks, options, futures....) doji this, bullish hammer that, harami ! I can't seem to get narrowed down to any one specific thing. I am definitely looking towards the Wiki and OneOption method, but see or hear another method and start to think about how I could work that into it also. See even this post is rambling lol I am set on making it to be a Real Successful Day Trader so I think I am going to have to buckle down and start paper trading to see what really works and see if I can make any sense of all of the info out there that I have now floating around in my head.
