🌿 Eliminate 5 Things from Your Home That Don’t Serve You 🌿
Hey everyone! Let’s talk about befriending our surroundings. Your home should be a place of peace, energy, and inspiration—not clutter, stress, and “Why do I still have this?” items. 😅 Today, let’s challenge ourselves to eliminate five things from our home that don’t serve us anymore. We’re not talking about a massive declutter. Start with small, simple steps—sometimes, getting rid of just a few things can make a big difference in how your space feels. Try this: 1. Identify five items in your home that no longer bring you joy, usefulness, or positive energy. It could be that sweater you never wear, the random knickknacks gathering dust, or expired items in the pantry. 2. Let them go! Donate, recycle, or toss—whatever feels right. Create some breathing room in your space and mind. 3. Reflect: Notice how the space feels afterward. Lighter? More intentional? What’s one thing you’re ready to eliminate from your space, and how do you think it’ll feel once it’s gone? Share your thoughts below, and let’s inspire each other to create spaces that support our lives! 💬👇 Every item we let go of makes room for more of what we truly need and love. Let’s make our homes a reflection of who we are and who we’re becoming!

Love this! This is something that I didn’t realize for a number of years how it was affecting me. I am pretty good about regularly going through and getting rid of clutter.
🌿 Treat Your Thoughts Like Sticks on a River 🌿
Ever find yourself caught in an endless stream of thoughts, worries, or stress? 🧠 It’s like they keep circling, pulling you in, and before you know it, you’re swept away in the current. But what if you didn’t have to grab onto every thought that comes your way? Here’s a simple visualization: Imagine your thoughts are like sticks floating down a river. 🌊 When you’re standing by the riverbank, you see these sticks pass by. Some might be small, some big, some tangled in emotions, but here’s the key—you don’t have to pick them up. You don’t have to hold onto them or follow them downstream. You can simply watch them float by. The point? Your thoughts aren’t you. They come and go, and you have the power to choose whether or not to engage with them. Try this today: 1. The next time you’re feeling overwhelmed by thoughts, pause for a moment. 2. Picture them as sticks in the river—floating, drifting away. 3. Notice them without judgment, and just let them pass by. You don’t need to grab onto them. 🌿 📝 What’s one thought that’s been floating around in your mind lately that you’re ready to let drift away? Share it below, and let’s support each other in letting go of what no longer serves us. 💬👇 Remember, you don’t have to be swept away by every thought. Stand on the riverbank, and let the sticks float on by.

🌿 How Much Do You Move? Let’s Talk About the Power of Movement! 🌿
Our bodies are designed to move, yet in the hustle of life, it’s easy to forget how important movement is for both our physical and mental well-being. But here’s the thing: Movement isn’t just about exercise—it’s about how we feel in our bodies and how we release stress throughout the day. Today, let’s reflect on your movement habits: - How much do you move throughout the day? - What kind of movement feels good to your body? - Do you find time to stretch, walk, or engage in more intentional exercise like yoga, running, or strength training? - Whether it’s a few stretches, a walk in nature, or a full workout, movement helps us feel more grounded and energized. The key is finding what works for you and your body’s needs. What kind of movement do you enjoy, and how do you incorporate it into your day? Let’s share our favorite ways to stay active and inspire each other to move more! 💬👇 Remember, every bit of movement counts—whether it’s big or small. Let’s befriend our bodies through mindful movement!

I walk or use my rower in the mornings on most days, and I do some yoga stretches before I go to bed- it helps me sleep! 😮

🌟 Notice Your Environment: Befriending Your Surroundings 🌟
Have you ever stopped to think about how your surroundings impact your mood, productivity, and overall well-being? Whether it’s the clutter on your desk, the people you interact with, or even the energy of the spaces you spend time in—your environment plays a huge role in how you feel and function. ✹ Here’s the thing: Your surroundings can either drain your energy or fuel your growth. So, why not befriend your environment and make it work for you, not against you? 💡 Here’s how to start: 1. Clear the Clutter: Physical clutter creates mental clutter. Take a look at your space—what can you simplify, organize, or let go of to create more mental clarity? 2. Evaluate Your Circle: Who do you spend most of your time with? Are they lifting you up, or holding you back? Surround yourself with people who support your growth and bring positive energy into your life. 3. Design for Flow: Set up your space in a way that inspires you and allows you to be productive. Whether it’s adding some greenery, natural light, or just creating a cozy corner—design your environment to support your goals. 4. Embrace Change: Sometimes, a small shift in your surroundings can lead to big shifts in how you feel. Don’t be afraid to change things up if they no longer serve you! ✹ The goal is simple: When you befriend your surroundings, you’re not just adjusting your physical space—you’re creating an environment that nurtures your mind, body, and spirit. And when all those elements are aligned, you’ll find yourself more focused, energized, and in flow. Takeaway: Your environment is a reflection of how you show up in the world. By taking small steps to create spaces and connections that truly serve you, you’ll notice a big difference in your overall well-being. 🌿 🔄 What about you? How does your environment affect your day-to-day life? Have you made any changes recently that have boosted your mood or productivity? Let’s talk in the comments—I’d love to hear how you’re befriending your surroundings!

I'm in the process of upgrading my physical space right now. I feel that it's important for my outside surroundings to match me on the inside too. It's been a fun exploration of what I like and what I no longer resonate with in terms of decor, color, and how it makes me feel.

🌟 Have You Tried the 10-10-10 Rule? 🌟
In moments of stress or when faced with tough decisions, it’s easy to get caught up in the emotion of the moment. That’s where the 10-10-10 Rule comes in—it’s a simple but powerful tool to help you pause, reflect, and make decisions that align with your long-term goals and values. Here’s how it works: When you’re faced with a decision, ask yourself: 1. How will I feel about this in 10 minutes? 2. How will I feel about this in 10 months? 3. How will I feel about this in 10 years? By thinking beyond the immediate moment, the 10-10-10 Rule helps us see the bigger picture and make choices that bring us closer to living the balanced, aligned life we strive for in the Befriending Your Life framework. Have you used the 10-10-10 Rule before? If so, how did it shape your decisions? If not, try it this week and share your experience! Let’s learn from each other and support one another on this journey to clarity and balance! 💬👇
