Time blocking is your secret weapon for doing just that—it helps you take control of your day instead of letting the day control you. How to Time Block Your Day: 1️⃣ Start with your pillars: Think about the core areas of your life—Mind, Body, Quest, Time, and Surroundings. What do you want to prioritize this week? Self-care? Family? Deep work on a passion project? 2️⃣ Block it out: Assign specific chunks of time in your day to each activity. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about creating a structure that reflects your values. - Morning: Meditation and journaling for your Mind 🧘‍♂️ - Midday: Focused work on your Quest 🎯 - Afternoon: Family or movement for your Body 💪 - - 3️⃣ Stick to it: Treat these blocks as sacred commitments to yourself. Hey everyone! Let’s explore something fascinating today—your vagal state. The vagus nerve, which connects your brain to your body, plays a huge role in how you respond to life. Understanding the 3 vagal states can help you recognize where you’re spending most of your time and guide you toward more balance and calm. 🌿 The 3 Vagal States: 1️⃣ Safe and Social (Ventral Vagal): This is the state of calm, connection, and feeling grounded. You’re relaxed, present, and able to interact with others openly. Think: a cozy conversation with a friend or enjoying a peaceful moment in nature. 2️⃣ Fight or Flight (Sympathetic): In this state, your body is primed for action—racing thoughts, tension, and adrenaline are common. It’s great for short bursts of energy but exhausting if you stay here too long. Think: running late for a meeting or reacting to a stressful email. 3️⃣ Freeze or Shutdown (Dorsal Vagal): This state happens when overwhelm takes over.
