@Gila Jones I am the same way. So I try not to bring them into the house. If they are in the house, they are in a cupboard that I hardly ever have to go into so I don't see them. But I have found coming up with alternatives helps too for when others are eating them around me and I am having trouble resisting. Kale chips baked at home instead of potato chips for something crunchy/salty or an energy ball instead of a cookie. Lots of recipes online but look for high protein low carb recipes which will usually have nut butter and protein powder and cinnamon and way less honey or syrup than the other recipes. It's not perfect but you get protein, fibre and healthy fats instead of butter, oil and sugar in typical cookies.
Egg whites
8 to 12 egg whites = 1 cup. What do you do with all the leftover egg yolks? I don't live with family or pets but there are likely street dogs that would enjoy them. Not sure if that is safe for them or if I should mix them with kibble or cook them. Any ideas?

in my grocery store they are sold in a carton on the top shelf above the eggs.

@Kathy Obrien Have you tried mixing them into an omelet? I put onions, peppers, zucchini to saute lightly in a pan and then pour the egg and egg white mixture with a bit or turmeric, salt and black pepper on top and cook it until it is set. You can't really taste the egg white with all the other flavours.

Definitely Action Before Attitude! It's so easy to get started and so easy to lose the momentum and backslide. So this daily reminder will help me continue to make the right choices and do the right things until they become habits.
