Produce-A-Thon: I made it in time! 💪😮‍💨
Produced, mixed, mastered and everythaaaang. 🤘😤🤘 Thanks TRE mentors for putting on this event! It was amazing practice. Great job to everyone submitting! So cool getting to hear so many ideas going on in the highnote submission area. I'm listening to every one! I've submitted my version under the artist name, Coffee Mug, with this cover art if you want to check it out in there. 🙌 Let me know in the comments how the process went for you! 🔥 @Andrew Gyselings - Shoutout to you, man! LOL, you totally turned that song on it's head and it's one of my favorites! 🤠👍

@Jedidiah Girio I'm all about the metal, maaaaan. Just recently stumbled on Blackbraid and it's been sick. Love that stuff. 🤘🤘 Who was your inspiration for this one?? Very cool rhythm guitar tone choices and the double kick is KICKIN' 🙌 Duuuude, I hear you on wanting a little more time to mix. Pressed for time, for sure. A great exercise in completing something. I don't have clients yet, but I imagine that deadline pressure feels the same, LOL

Music Production Exercise - Karaoke??🎙🧐
For anyone else who's interested in what makes your favorite songs tick - I've pondered the same thing for a long time. Especially hit songs! Caleb Loveless has brought up the time in his life when he was making kareoke type tracks in a studio at one point. He said this helped him in understanding what makes a great production. I also found that to be extremely useful. By dissecting the songs we love we can find out why we like them so much and what techniques can be used to fill out the frequency for the respective genre you're going for. Imitation can often lead to inspiration. 👍🏻 To try and grow my social media platforms soon, I'll be using my full stack producer approach to cover different songs on different days of the week. "Moody Mondays", "Throwback Thursdays", "What If...?" - that kind of thing. And you only need a small part of the song and it's still REALLY valuable. I'm practicing AND preparing content. Maybe that sounds like something you might want to try also! 💪🏽 Here are some demos of what I mean. TL;DR: Do some covers of your favorite songs to imitate the production. It's awesome practice for producing and writing your own songs.

@Kat V. Yoooooo, I REALLY appreciate you listening to that one. 🥲 I hear that! Would you be doing the same or similar style of music as your older studio account. That stuff was dope, for sure. Ayeeeeee, I appreciate that! I'm excited to share my other stuff with the group. You get exclusive scoop, if that's alright! 😁👍

DO YOU FORMAT LYRICS? HOW?
Inspired by @Justin Juarez’s gracious posting of the lyrics to “Kitchen,” we see just one of many ways to format lyrics. As he mentioned, there’s all sorts of ways to format lyrics…if at all! Do you or don’t you? If so, in what way—word processing, a template, something from a service? Is there an “industry standard” way to format lyrics for publishing or etc.? Do you print lyrics on cue cards for recording? Please share any thoughts, examples, experiences, opinions or etc.!

@Rick Paul This response is gold. Thank you for sharing, Rick! You did a wonderful job describing your process. I'm eager to apply these tips to my lyrics as well in Microsoft Word. If you ever had a free moment to share one of your lyrical Word documents in here, I'd be very grateful! Would love to see a visual representation. 🙂
