@Caleb Loveless My understanding of copyright is that there is a certain amount allowed for educational purposes. Based on that we should all understand how generous and great it is for the FULL files of FULL SONGS to be offered up for us to practice on. … and basically make arrangements as we like for FREE …PLUS get some measure of feedback. I personally cannot overstate the AWESOME opportunity in that and I HOPE it stays that way, minus a few adaptations or modifications as needed. But …the AIs are not set up or distinguish educational purposes when these things are posted outside of “us”. WE KNOW what’s up, IT doesn’t. That said, given the problems recently with 3rd party copyright strikes, I wonder if it would be possible to keep contests within the Mastering.com universe? Possible to set up a page temporarily for those or something like that? Or would that be too unmanageable and that’s why social media was used in the first place? This is a hard topic especially as AI advances…let’s not let snafus spoil our FUN! Let us know if there’s something we could do to make it better for everyone. For real…THANKS AGAIN!!!!
