Re-engaging a cold list / social media audience
What is the best way to re-engage a cold email list and/or social media audience? I haven't been present in my social media in quite a bit and when I show up it's been inconsistent flashes of "here I am" followed by long spurts of radio silence. If I come back with a "I'm here for real this time" message, they won't believe me (cuz I don't believe it either LOL). I'm having a mindset block around the fact that I haven't been showing up on my email list or my social media channels, and now that I am promoting offers for revenue, nobody will pay attention OR convert/ What has worked for you?

After signing up, people on my email list get a welcome sequence. Then they are copied over to the newsletter group. The newsletter group gets a weekly pre-written evergreen newsletter. If you are in a niche with lots of evergreen information, a bank of evergreen newsletters can be a life saver. Before I started, I pre-wrote a dozen long email newsletters. Then I kept adding to the bank of newsletters. Lately, I’ve been writing shorter newsletters that contain one main idea and link to a post on the blog that fleshes out the main idea. I’ve found it’s good to have an evergreen bank of newsletters so I’m always weeks ahead. So even if I get overwhelmed with a large project, something will still go out weekly. Ilise Benun, a marketing expert I follow talks a lot about taking baby steps in marketing. For example, if the thought of starting up a long email sequence seems overwhelming, start with micro-newsletters. Your micro-newsletters can just be an intro and a single idea to share with your audience. In a group call Ilise shared on YouTube, she described micro-newsletters and gave 3 examples (16:45 to 21:00): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTHaJ4P7GVk Later in the same call, Ilise and one of her associates spoke about the getting into the habit of writing newsletters (24:19 to 26:50).

@Sikiru Anifat Well thought out and well written! I love how you broke it down into clear steps for moving forward with Champagne Clients. This belongs in the Value Bomb section. 💣
The Funnel Works!
I was having a cr*ppy day yesterday. I'd been doing my revenue routines for over 2 weeks (from Evergreen Everyday) and had made one low ticket sale and had a lot of unsubscribes from my list. But then today, someone bought one of my low ticket products, added the bump. Came back an hour later for the third low ticket product that was in my funnel and then came back two hours later for another product that is not even in my funnels at this stage. Yesterday I was doubting myself and I almost didn't post anything because I was feeling so down but I decided to trust the process and keep going. I have a pretty small audience and many are possibly too beginner to be interested in my Notion AI tools so I need to focus on bringing the right people in now. I'm posting this for anyone else who is following the process with a small audience to encourage you to keep going. You may feel like nothing is happening but it is.

@Jessica Andersen Kate Doster's Bundle Host Starter Kit might be a good intro.
Ghosting Audience questions -
Ghosting Audience questions - Hi All, I had a major health issues last May that caused me to lose my sight in 1 eye. I took a HUGE step back in my business and haven't sent out any emails. How do I start again? Do I email them with the story or just act like everything is okay? I would prefer to not repeat the story and have a bunch of people responding but not sure how to handle the large absents. I have been in the same industry online for 7+ years

@Lynyetta Willis, PhD , I felt the same way about Jenny Shih's return. I even purchased some of her digital products during her hiatus without knowing she was dealing with a major illness. Her products helped me make much needed changes to my website. She'd provided so much value over the years and set up such good systems that I had no idea her business was on life support.

@Kerttu Pentikäinen Those are good points. An audience doesn't need detailed health information. The person I mentioned gave an overview of her health situation as a way of explaining why she's been on hiatus for the past 3 years. 5 or 6 emails in and I still don't know specific details of her illness. Nor is it any of my business. She's included links to past posts and videos that remind her email list recipients of the value she's already provided. She's also surveyed her list to find out where they stand now. Most of her emails have teased out information about her new business direction. Overall, her emails have been informative and welcoming. I'm glad to hear from her again and wish her well in her new direction.
