10 High value skills that WILL change your life
Itā€™s time to be highly paid for your expertise. These 10 high value skills will take you there! 1) Copywriting Write words, get paid. Like it or not, we persuade through words and we spend a lot more time reading than anything else. The problem? We read 100,000+ words per day, so: - Why should anyone listen to you? - Why should they stop scrolling? - What makes you read one email vs deleting many others?Ā  Words that connect with your reader, create AHA moment and make them think ā€œWow, I never thought about it that way beforeā€ pays thousands. 2) Sales For you to sell for thousands, your consultation has to be worth thousands! Most are so busy pitching, convincing and HATING sales, they miss out on everything mastering sales has to offer. Iā€™ve personally sold 2000+ high ticket consulting offers and thereā€™s one thing I know for sure. Sales is fun and is the fastest way to help more people. 3) Marketing Most advertise, they donā€™t market. They shout about their new product, they make offers and all they get is tumbleweed. Supermarkets can advertise because they sell to everyone, so the billboard on the motorway is great advertising to bring more people to their store. As small business owners, we need to talk to a specific audience and solve a specific problem. Thatā€™s marketing. And when you get it right, it pays immensely. 4) Lead generation Most would argue they have a great product, most would also agree they canā€™t get a client. AKA, they have ZERO clue how to find leads. What would change in your life if you could generate 1 to 10 highly qualified leads per week in your business? How will life be different when you have a waiting list of perfect clients wanting to pay you thousands? Without leads, we donā€™t have a business. With leads, we can build an empire. 5) Systems and process Itā€™s cute most business mentors teach goals, but thereā€™s a very good reason almost all of their clients fail. - We donā€™t rise to our goals, we fall to our systems

Big change
Hi team, You'll notice a big change with the name here for the group and this will mean good news for some and bad news for others. The entire focus of this group moving forward will be based on 'becoming a high value business consultant' where you can take your expertise to companies from small businesses to the multi-billion dollar brands. Most of you know already, I've consulted for 100's of companies over the years, most recently working with MSC cruise line to help transform their sales across 21 ships. Also, earlier this year, I launched the Consultants in Business Project (CIB) with my good friend and now business partner @Jonny Cooper (more on this later). Since launching the project with Jonny, I've realised more and more all I want to focus on is helping aspiring consultants win their first (and many more) corporate client. I'll write more about all of the above over the next few days, but for now know this group moving forward is here to focus on: - What it takes to become a high value business consultant - What sort of consulting opportunities are out there (as there are many) - Why consulting means you're selling your mind not your time - 101 of consulting tips - The basics of getting started I appreciate for some of you, it will be music to your ears to hear how this group is moving forward. For others, it means this group will no longer be for you. Whatever you decide, I appreciate you being here and the support you've given over the years. My goal from now, is to help create consultants who are earning hundreds of thousands per year, purely selling their expertise and creating transformations within their chosen industry. Consulting vs selling
Big question for you! Are you here because you simply want to learn how to sell your product or service? Or... Because you want to become a successful consultant and trusted advisor to your client? By the way, consulting can be anything from: - A beauty therapist consulting her clients so she can offer a transformation the client pays thousands for - A personal trainer instead of selling individual sessions and packages, offers body transformation worth 10K+ - A videographer moving from selling filming and editing to working on huge projects worth 100K+ Consulting then up levels to: - Becoming the trusted advisor to big companies in the specific area you can help - Being paid 1 million+ to work with just one client to help them transform (this is possible for the right consultant) - Becoming an industry leader and being invited to advise on how the industry should move forward - Building a multiple six figure consulting business and recognised brand within your industry - Working with a few companies per year to X2 to X100 your annual revenues Over to you, which one lights a fire in your belly and makes you say "yesssssssss!" P.S - You can't pick both.
