Cancellation reason
I would love to have a pop up box asking for why a client is leaving, that comes if someone gets through and still cancels after the cancellation video. What say you?? Editing to add, after that’s implemented if people know the top three reasons their clients are leaving, if they click for example notification overwhelm they would be served the cancellation video on how to unfollow and fix the notifications issue.. Basically if you have the top three reasons you could record three different videos in response and the correct video for the reason they leave would be shown to them.

Depends on the day and which tasks I am trying to accomplish
Posting on skool is different than other socials…
Whether it’s here in this group, in your own space, or elsewhere… are you making community focused posts or audience focused posts? It’s easy to get swept up in how we post on other platforms and bring that to skool… and then wonder why it’s crickets in response. Remembering the difference between community and audience is the key. When you have an audience, typically you are up on stage delivering your two cents, experience, thoughts, and story… maybe with a “raise your hand if…” thrown in here or there. When you are building community, it’s imperative to remember that you want to start a conversation, just like in real life… and continue conversation later on etc. So, in an online community, share your wins, your woes, your questions, etc… but think about how you would talk to peeps in real life in front of you 😉 Do you just go on a monologue for 20 min? Or do you pause and ask questions and allow others to share etc so the convo keeps flowing? Before posting ask yourself when you reread your post if it’s asking others for input, to share something they resonate with etc. If not, maybe it’s time to reword it. Do you always have to do this?! Nope, but the more you thread this through your posting, the more engagement will happen, and the more the convo flows. Then, instead of only ever leaving statements under comments, think about if there is a question you could ask in response to get more convo going.. not in a contrived forced way, but being genuine. The more we choose to be others focused, the more the magic can and will happen. Also, when you are with friends irl, do you only talk about one topic or thing?? Prolly not. So, why do we wonder when engagement tanks in our skool group when all we talk about is the niche and no other human elements, like where are you from, got weekend plans, what’s a win and a goal, fav movie reccs, fav place to get work done etc etc. When we post about other things too, it opens up conversations that are easier to jump into and other folks start replying to each other etc 😉

Pinning Posts to Courses Tips
Just wanted to share the way I have this set up and if you get stuck, a reminder to use the search option when pinning posts. Did you know you can pin posts to a course? You might ask yourself what the point of that is. While there are several reasons you may want, or not want, to do this, this is why and what I have done. In my community, I have a pinned post to the first lesson in each course. I have that post be related to only that particular course. The idea is that any feedback (reviews), questions, concerns, or otherwise are brought to that particular post. Not only will that post maintain engagement, it should help keep the community feed cleaner without duplicate posts that may be asking the same thing. Again, I have this done with the preface being, use this about the course itself. Other questions that are not about the course are still welcomed to be posts. Also, when pinning, if you do not see the course you want in the drop down, simply search. You can type in the box and find the course by typing the course name. The dropdown does not scroll.

Very smart! I am just getting started and will be using this structure!
Classroom
There are SO many niches here so I am curious... Do you actually use your classroom? Of course, the idea of Skool is to create courses, but it's SO much more than that. Is the community portion the "bonus," or is it the main reason you use Skool? I love BOTH but I have found the community has been the greatest ROI.

For my community- the classroom is where I really stock value for my members. For me, I would say it is 50/50. I am learning SO much!
