Why I can't train for 6 months.
So from past two months, I've been dealing with clavicle pain whenever I did dips or bench press. I don't know what caused it, but it has gotten worse ever since. Yesterday, I consulted a doctor, did an x-ray to check for any stress fractures. Thankfully, there was none, but since I had already visited him a month ago and he had told me to stop doing dips for a month, I did. When I got back to training, the pain was still there, but slightly better, so I thought it was a good sign and slowly regained the momentum, unfortunately the pain got worse. The doctor said not to train dips and bench press. But in calisthenics, dips are a must. For 6 months I won't be able to do dips and bench, but I can do exercises like inclined dumbbell press and maybe cable flys. What do you guys suggest? Should I stop training dips and bench for 6months or do you think it's ridiculous to stop training for so long like I do. Also, if you guys can tell any alternatives to dips, that would be helpful. PS - (I can train other muscle groups as hard as I used to, so that won't be a problem for me.)

The next best thing after dips, are weighted push ups. With a deficit preferably, so you can get more rom and stretch on the pecs. Only do them if you can do them pain free. Sorry to hear your situation, injuries sure can be interfering. That is why always prioritize safe training to not get snap up in the long term. Wishing you a speedy recovery, bro 🙏
