Suffice to say next week is going to likely be an absolute shit show of a week here in the states. Normally I designate Fridays for a pep talk that centers around finishing the week strong, but today I had to share a rant I firmly believe needs to be discussed regarding “pain” during lifting. Pearson the language…I got a little passionate. Hands Up, KEEP FIGHTING✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼!!!!

I have to admit, I’ve been that “dumbass”. But I’ve learned to listen to my body as I age. Started the 30 days of Farmer Carries today. 1/4 mile was the distance. My KBs start at 20# so that’s what I started with. Way too light, but I did the distance. Short on time so that’s all I got in.
30-Day “Farmers Walk” Challenge
I’m always up for ANYTHING that will rally the troops and this 30 day challenge is a perfect way to do so!!! In my mind the real value of doing these types of daily challenge workouts is the accountability they create by forcing a non-negotiable goal specific action. Not only do they improve gains, but they build discipline, too! So I wanna try something out with you guys open to a challenge. For the next month, I want you to take part in this “Farmers Walk Challenge”… The rules are simple: - Designate the distance or sets of failure you’ll do - Rotate the different weights daily (go up then down) - Carry on every set til absolute failure (dropping it) …And - Resting for 30 seconds between each set… If you’re in, which I really hope you are, then reply YES to the survey… Make sure to check out the YouTube video attached for more details… LFG!!!
