Benefits of Yoga
Hey team! I am Amella and want to share why yoga is so awesome and beneficial! I developed a passion for yoga in 2022 during a stressful year of studying in my undergrad. Walking out of a yoga class feeling a different energetic level was a new sensation I began to crave. Eventually it led me to do a yoga teacher training and certification in Bali, Indonesia. Daniel asked me to share some of the benefits of yoga and why I love it so much with all of you amazing people. Here we go! Benefits I’ve found from my yoga practice: - Peace of mind: by focusing on the breathe and each yoga pose (aka yoga asana) our minds don’t have anywhere else to run. Presence brings peace to the body and mind. - I feel more in tune with how my body is doing and what muscles are tight or need to be stretched which is helpful for the other sports I do! - The power of breathe: pranayama, (breathing exercises) correct poor breathing patterns that we don’t even realize we have. Good breathing habits help us nurture our bodies and can help with struggles such as migraines, stress, anxiety, etc. - Stretching often through yoga helps my body feel AMAZING, especially when I alternate doing workout days of weightlifting and yoga. - Yoga is a great workout if you’re doing it right by engaging all muscles. It’s a common misconception that yoga is easy. If it’s easy for you, it’s time to take it to the next level. When we use all muscles in each yoga pose (asana) we pay attention to our body and become more in tune with how we move. These are just a few of the many reasons I love yoga and do it daily! I’m happy to answer any questions about yoga, breathing, recommendations, or anything else related. Namaste🙏

My name is Daniel Jacobsen, I am the oldest of 5 siblings (all boys), I love my family and my passion in life is to serve others using the psychological skills I have learned. I am from/currently in Utah and have lived in California, Texas, Ohio, Maryland, and Florida. 2. I want to level up and continue to grow in every aspect of my life; physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I also want to serve this tribe and help everyone accomplish their personal goals. 3. For fun I love being outdoors fishing, camping, climbing, skiing, hiking, and I love sports/ competition and studying performance psychology as to what makes a champion a champion. 4.
